Not much could be understood from the alliances ancient language in this day and age, while even having a life long expirance in such ancient languages the story of genes was tough to comprehend.
Completely littered with metaphors and idioms like a hoarders house it's was a philosophical masterpiece seemingly holding the meaning of life all within while comprising all knowledge the universe had to offer all within 100 pages perfectly articulated to hold all the information in an equally complex and veiled fashion.
It was too early for him to practice qigongs not untill he became a awakener. So for know he'd research them.
A few months went by and Ren turned four, on his birthday with just himself and his dad. His dad broke the news of him enrolling into a highclass academy nearby. The best on the planet, but far from the best in the galaxy.
Not really wanting to waste time with child level education, he insesently declined the idea. All in vain, his father was incredibly adamant.
Only caring about his research and his sons growth, excluding him from education was not an option.
Looking at things half glass full; Ren liked the idea of receiving formal combat training. Reluctantly following along with his dads wishes. But taking advantage of the situation by adding a new holographic watch that could access the sky net. His dad naturally agreed not caring believeing Ren wanted to play game when he was board.
And as soon as the next day his dad walked him with his new connection to the skynet to a shuttle that took them straight to the academy.
It was both of their first time at the school, so it ended up not being the first day of classes rather a tour of all the facilities the academy had to offer.
The place was about the size of an airport Ren thought the place would offer dorms and it turned out to be so but only for the upperclassmen at age 14, they deemed it mandatory to live on campus.
Ren guessed it was to condishen the kids to live in unfamiliar and foreign environments outside of the safety of their homes.
In the following years Ren drifted through geno art and combat training and studying. Ignoring school work, but acing every test earned him a reputation that he just straight up ignored.
His friends weren't anything more than peers, not interested in befriending kids, he felt like his life was like one big hibernation cycle eagerly waiting for the light of entering the sanctuary's.
Turning ten his father made him aware of an event they'd been invited to were going to attend. The location was offworld in the heart of the alliance.
Hosted by the saint hall and martial hall once every fifty years to celebrate their formation and achievements together. All highlevel personal were invited as well as some special guest.
Both halls held the greatest power in the alliance secound only to the military then again the military/ government held some authority over the two.
Either way the entire alliance relied on both halls due to the sanctuary's. Warranting the appearance of the strongest people of the alliance to attend and it would appear disrespectful if the inside members of the two halls didn't show themselves to greet the pillars of the alliance.
Ren was a little excited it was his first time in a spaceship let alone flying off into space in both of his.
Entering the ship while his father was briefing him on formality's and little things.
Ren kept his eyes glued to the windows once the ship started to fly spaceward.
Entranced by the reality of drifting in space, his father let him be the trip would take two days after all.
For both of those days Ren would meditate and surf the skynet not leaving the window showcasing the dark glowing environment. Pondering if he'd ever be able to wield space itself.
Arriving the heart of the alliance the lights shining in the sky were increased ten-fold. Though these lights weren't stars. Merely the vast city's bubbling activity in addition to the massive astroid belt that was illuminated in a colorful array due to the sun and moon reflecting light off the myriad of the belts gaseous dust layers.
The city looked small from high up, but once inside, the city appeared as a whole new world mimicking the size of a small planet it was a grand architectural feat. No doubt only possible with enhanced people and the phenomenal technology.
Exiting the spacecraft his father led him to a building, more important the saint hall residences. Sharing the same apartment he was told to dress up, before they walked out.
"Hoho." An old man interrupted us in a cheery mood. "Paul! This your son?" In a teasing mannor.
Laughing my father responded sarcastically. "Yeah old man, nice to see you too."
"Hah, the disrespect in my old assistants heart." The man lamenated. "Still bitter about the spirits?" He scoffed.
Ren vaguely understanding the situation. His dad spoke again agvivated. "Hmmp, what? Think you can stand your ground against one of those royal mother fuckers! Ha, you can't even run from one."
Laughing it off, while changing the subject. "You haven't visited the hall in more than a decade! Get your shit from your vault already. You've taken enough long enough to retrieve them."
Watching his dad sigh not speaking again. While the man led us down a hallway toward a room.
Upon entering the room it turned out to be a closest. The man touching a button and microscopic lines started appearing from the empty closet room then shifted opening a hidden drawer revealing a crate.
His dad taping the top of it again revealed two objects. Two briefcases, extending his hand to pick one up, his hands were swatted away by the man. "Nu-uh, this one's for the kid." The man teased.
Sighing his dad responded in a tired tone, "Yeah I know Edward, quit bugging me already."
But Edward just took the briefcase and handed it to Ren. Ren grabbing the brief case after seeing his dad not intervening. Just watching his dad grab the other one.
They walked off toward a more populated area. Where all the saint hall members held a small social gathering.
Poking my should I look up noticing Edward smiling. "Hey kid, look over there." He pointed and I followed with my eyes, it was a small kid sized arena with a dozen or so kids around his age siting on the walls of the area ring while watching a spar. "See those kids over their, they are all competing for a beast soul if you win you could start yourself off well in the sanctuary's when you come of age, intrested?"
Ignoring the clear manipulation trying to get rid of the kid without seeming rude. Ren shrugged not seeming interested but asked anyway, "what grade?"
Sensing the uninterest, Edward responded trying to act fun, "it's a surprise!"
Ren didn't react, believing the beast soul was of poor grade if anything, but he didn't intend to cause trouble so he was about to sigh and walk toward the group and just scower the skynet to pas the time maybe meditate on a few geno arts.
