Chapter 19: Chapter 19

It was now break time, and Travis and Eve headed to the cafeteria. But before Travis could even get something to eat, Coach Bridget approached him, her intense gaze seeming to pierce right through him.

"Travis, I think you might have forgotten what we decided on. Now get your ass up and go to the field," she said firmly.

He sighed, resigned, and stood up, grabbing his bag as he walked out with her trailing behind. Once they reached the stairs, Travis stopped and turned to face her.

"You know I don't really like being told what to do. So you better mind the way you speak to me next time, or I'm getting off this team," he stated, his tone serious.

What Travis didn't know was that his body was emitting an extremely dangerous vibe, one that sent chills down Coach Bridget's spine. She nodded subconsciously, a sign of her unease, which made Travis smile. He hadn't expected her to agree to his demands, but now that she had, he felt a surge of satisfaction. Continuing down the stairs, he stepped outside and made his way to the field.

After a moment, Coach Bridget followed him, her eyes glued to him. The aura surrounding Travis had shifted dramatically; where yesterday he was merely a novice, today he radiated something else—something primal that she couldn't quite identify. One thing was clear: Travis was not someone to be underestimated.

"Alright, team, we have a new member," Coach Bridget announced, her voice carrying over the crowd. "This is Travis. He's exceptional at everything I've seen so far, so I hope you all see him as competition because I'm sure none of you can match him—"

"Why doesn't he show us then? If he's so good, why doesn't he race our best, Jason?" a voice called out from the group.

They pointed toward Jason, a dark-skinned, fit guy standing under a tree, his headphones over his ears. Ronda stood beside him, her gaze fixed on Travis, although he remained oblivious.

"Oh, that sounds good. Travis, you fine with this?" Coach Bridget asked, a hint of excitement in her voice.

"Yeah, I'm alright with it," Travis replied, confidence brimming in his tone.

"This Jason dude's trying to act mysterious; he must be on TikTok a lot," Travis thought, eyeing the confident athlete. "But what's his relationship with Ronda? I wonder."

He was soon about to find out.

[No NTR, by the way, so don't get your stomach turning.]

Ronda called out to Jason, who opened his recently closed eyes and shifted his attention to her. He pulled off his headphones, ready to listen.

"They want you to race the new guy," she said flatly. Jason glanced at Travis, sizing him up.

"Fine, let's see what he can do. Tell him to change; I don't want him complaining after he loses," he replied, his deep voice commanding.

Ronda stared at him, her expression blank. She wondered what was going on in his head. He had just ordered her around, and here she was, trying to befriend the loner in their group. With a sigh, she walked off and relayed Jason's request to Coach Bridget, deciding not to return to him afterward.

Travis went back and changed his clothes. When he glanced in the mirror, he was taken aback by his extremely shredded body; every muscle was defined, resembling a perfectly crafted drawing. He felt disbelief wash over him and realized he needed to hide this transformation to avoid drawing suspicion.

After getting dressed, he returned to the group, and everyone was stunned by his impressive physique. His well-defined calves looked like they belonged to a superhero, and his arms, adorned with prominent veins, made the girls on the team visibly intrigued.

"Wow, this kid is freakin' jacked. When did this happen?" Coach Bridget wondered, recalling her previous encounter with him. Though she remembered speaking to him, she hadn't focused on his body back then, making her reaction now all the more surprising.

"Alright, it's just a quick 100-meter sprint and back. Get on the track," Coach Bridget instructed.

Jason and Travis took their positions on the track. After a brief moment of preparation, she shouted,

"Go!"

Travis was barely visible as he sprinted to the finish line, and before anyone could comprehend what had just happened, he was already racing back. He crossed the finish line in an instant.

'What just happened?!' everyone thought in unison. Ronda was utterly shocked; she had never imagined Travis could be this fast. In fact, she doubted anyone could possess such speed.

The entire team was left speechless, including Jason, who remained rooted at the starting line. Travis grinned as he strolled back to the group, while Coach Bridget emerged from her stupor, gazing at him with sheer amazement.

"Wow, kids, so you were holding back yesterday?" she asked.

"Not really. Now what do I do?" he replied, a playful tone in his voice.

"Well, we'll be doing some exercises now. So, everyone, shake off that shock. First, do 40 full laps of suicides. Now start!"

Full laps meant they only counted when returning from the run. Travis took the lead, diving into the workout with determination. He knew he needed to push himself if he wanted to grow stronger. The others quickly followed suit, and soon the grueling torture began for them. Travis, however, felt perfectly fine, his body responding effortlessly to the demands.

**(30 minutes later)**

The team was drenched in sweat, gasping for air as they struggled to keep up with the relentless pace. Travis, on the other hand, maintained his energy, each lap feeling like a warm-up rather than a challenge.

Break was over, signaling the end of their brief respite. The boys were eager to freshen up, but the girls were still in the showers, taking their time. Travis, however, had his own approach to the situation. Disregarding the wait, he boldly entered the girls' bathroom and proceeded to get ready for the day.

Meanwhile, Ronda, who had just returned from an extra workout, caught sight of Travis's unexpected entrance.

'Is he a pervert or something?' She thought.

Confusion and suspicion swirled in her mind as she observed his actions. She couldn't help but follow him discreetly, curious about his motives.

The soothing sound of water cascading from the showers greeted Ronda's ears as she cautiously peeked inside. What she saw took her by surprise – Travis, with his sculpted physique glistening under the water's flow, exuded an almost otherworldly aura. His physique was so remarkable that it almost seemed unreal, prompting her to wonder if it was the result of something unnatural.

'Man I would love to wake up every morning and see that' she thought.
