Chapter 2: Jujutsu High School: A Day in the Cafeteria
Suki raced across the Jujutsu High School grounds, laughter trailing behind her. "Can you catch me, Panda-senpai?" she called out playfully.
Panda, out of breath, grinned. "You're too fast! I give up!"
"Haha, I won because I'm Suki!" she declared, triumphant.
Just then, Megumi approached, a hint of exasperation in his voice. "Hey, Suki, Gojo-sensei is waiting for us, and you're out here playing."
Suki paused, her cheeks flushed. "Oh, sorry! I forgot about that!"
The two hurried to Gojo's office, their footsteps echoing in the hall. As they entered, Gojo leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. "Why did you come here so late?" he asked, mock anger in his tone.
Megumi sighed, "Suki was playing."
"Sorry! I just lost track of time," Suki apologized, her head downcast.
Gojo's expression softened. "Alright then. Your mission is to go to the cafeteria and observe how many Cursed Spirits are there."
Both Megumi and Suki blinked in surprise. "Just watch?" they echoed.
"Yes, just watch and report back," Gojo confirmed.
Megumi raised an eyebrow. "But Gojo-sensei, what will you do with that information?"
Suki perked up. "Sounds like fun! I'll do it—like a game!"
Megumi shrugged. "Fine, I'll do it too."
The two made their way to the cafeteria. "There are many Cursed Spirits around," Megumi remarked, scanning their surroundings.
"Yeah, I can feel it too," Suki replied, her excitement palpable.
Once inside, they ordered their meals—Megumi opting for coffee while Suki went for pizza. As they settled at a table, Suki's curiosity piqued. "Did you feel that?"
"Yes, there's definitely something off," Megumi answered.
Just then, a girl approached, placing their food in front of them before swiftly leaving. Suki squinted. "Is that a girl or a boy?"
Megumi glanced over. "That's a boy in girl's clothing."
Suki's brow furrowed. "How do you know that?"
"You don't need to know," Megumi replied, trying to brush it off.
But Suki, ever stubborn, pressed on. "But why not?"
"Come closer, and I'll whisper it to you," he said, smirking.
Suki leaned in, intrigued. Megumi lowered his voice. "Don't you think the girl who just came has, well, too small of a chest?"
Suki's eyes widened in surprise, a flush creeping up her cheeks. "What?! You pervert!"
Suddenly, the cafeteria buzzed with attention, all eyes on them. Suki quickly smiled awkwardly, waving her hands. "Everything's fine!"
