Chapter 118: Admit Your Feelings

By evening, Victoria was feeling much better. The pepper soup that her mom made for her when she came was great and that was all she had been having the whole day. Her mother also prepared some jollof rice for her as well, but the only thing she has been able to take was the pepper soup.

"I have put the jollof rice inside your freezer for you. So whenever you want to eat it you will just have to microwave it okay?"

"Yes mummy, thanks," Victoria said. 

"And when that young man comes again, you can also give him some as well too," her mom said with a coy smile. Victoria knew she was trying to fish for information and she wasn't going to give her any. Her mother has been asking subtle questions about Deji the whole day and Victoria was beginning to get tired of her, that was why she couldn't wait to kick her out so she could go back to her husband's house.

"He is coming back to see you today right?" Her mother asked her with a smile.
