Chapter 108: Long Awaited Return

Eden attempted to contact So-Rin, but her response remained absent. She was meant to be on standby outside the underground laboratory and move in once the security network had been deactivated.

"What about So-Rin? Any update from her?" Noa asked, a hint of tightness lingering in his chest post-battle.

"Still no response," Eden replied warily. His face looked worried, mirroring the same anxiety that Noa felt.

"Perhaps she's temporarily held back by some sort of obstacle or something else. No matter what it is, we can't afford to wait long. We don't have much time before Infrablack realizes the system is down and the laboratory has been breached."

"True, especially since you've just destroyed his golden son."

"Golden son? Explain," Noa's brow furrowed.
