Chapter 30: A Kid In Danger!

"Of course i will be confident after the hellish training you made me go through hahaha" Jack laugh towards the end of his sentence.

"Indeed the training is effective but the training alone won't make you this confidence, you hiding something?" Auryn asked with a knowing look.

"Hahaha..." Jack helpless laugh, "I indeed have a new trick" Jack grinned.

"Oh what is it?" Auryn's interest is piqued.

"Watch closely! I have awakened my magic!" Jack excitedly said.

He closed his eyes and Auryn can seee the concentration he is putting for this to work.

Fwoosh!

Suddenly, a small ball of fire appeared on his hand which is flickering as if it will die out anytime soon.

"Interesting... that's great, you just have to put in more concentration and it will finally be stable" Auryn said as he smile.

"Woah you really smiled hahahahah, guess this is a great achievement but I bet you've awakened too!" Jack happily laughed.

"Unfortunately not..." Auryn sighed.

"Huh? Are you messing with me?" Jack look at him with a look that screams 'you must be pulling my leg'

"Nah it's true, I couldn't awakened anything" Auryn said as he sighed.

"Hahah don't worry, I'll protect you and everyone else!" Jack announced.

"I will still thrash you around tho" Auryn said while continuing to play with the ball.

"I'll get going then, I wanna take a stroll around the town, probably it will be long before we come back after going to the mainland" Auryn sighed.

"Oh wait for me! I'll just put a new set of clothes and we are good to go" Jack said as he quickly walk out.

"Hah..." Auryn just sighed and decided to make another drawing in his free time.

The two best friends are walking down the streets while chatting way, they are on the side of the road, to their side is an ocean, if someone is to jump from here...

"I find it really surprising that there Is an even more bustling place than this" Jack said.

"Of course" Auryn is not one bit surprised, he has seen much more bustling places on earth.

"Hahahah follow me! ha-"

Auryn caught the sound and quickly try to find the source, from the corner of his eyes, he found two boys running while the other one tries to chase the one that made that sound.

But the boy that has his sentence cut off is in a Dire situation, he has trip and about to fall into the ocean below!

Auryn's powerful foot crush the ground beneath it as he shot towards the falling boy in high speeds!

'He is already felling, at this rate I won't be able to get a hold of him!' Auryn thought wile increasing his speed as much he can as he chase after it!

Fwoosh!

Auryn's eyes constrict as he caught a figure flashing past him, he is a little more closer to the boy and has now jump after the boy!

'Damn the sea is not that calm today. It will probably crash them into the wall!' Auryn thought as he arrive over the edge and jump after them too in a parkour style!

Kaak!

Auryn grabbed the hand of the unknown Man whirl using his free hand to grab the edge holding both himself and the other two at the same time!

"Auryn!" Jack shouted and run towards the edge with tensed expression!

Suddenly, a crowd has already gathered around the area as they all seek to see what fate awaits those three that have fall from this place and into the turbulent ocean.

"Waa! Waa! I want to go home!" The kid suddenly starts sobbing while calling.

Auryn watch everything from above while holding the unknown figure.

'Well it is normal for him to cry, after all he will have die falling from that height and into the turbulent ocean and even right now, the situation is yet to be safe'

Auryn thought as he continues to hold onto the edge tightly, he might survive this with his tough body but he is not sure about the unknown figure while the kid has zero chance of survival too.

Jack's tense face relax when he saw that Auryn has tightly clench onto the edge and thus all of them are safe.

Auryn look up and saw that help has finally arrive and heave a sigh of relieve, "We will pull you out right away" Jack said as he grab Auryn's arm and start to pull.

Another clocked man arrived and his strength is truly extraordinary because he made Jack felt like all of the three dudes stack together are weightless.

'He is strong' Jack thought and try look at the man's face and try to look at his face but all he sees is a hood and a mask.
