Chapter 7: Shopping

Juliette wasn't in her best mood to go shopping. She hated how Luca dragged her inside the car, with Salvatore driving. One car for the guards was in front, and another car was following them.

'Why does he have so many guards? He even has more guards than the king. What a joke! Is he even that important?' Juliette insolently thought as she put a grim face to show Luca she was displeased.

Luca, oblivious of the thoughts inside Juliette's head, never seemed to care about how the latter was pouting the entire time. He wanted to take her to go shopping, and that's what should happen.

‘Ironic’, Juliette thought, considering how he had just told her less than an hour ago about how she wasn’t going anywhere until her father’s killer was caught.

Juliette attempted to place her hand on the seat, coincidentally, Luca placed his hand on the seat between them as well, so their hands happened to touch.
