Chapter 169: Hybrid

Su Ming approached the red fox cautiously even though it wouldn't be able to touch him because of the array.

He kneeled down and placed his hand near the fox.

With his spiritual energy, he entered the fox's consciousness.

On the fox's side, the beasts nearby had noticed Su Ming approaching it but were curious as to what he was about to do. Now that they've seen him doing something to the fox, they wanted to get in the way.

Whether it was bad or good for the fox, they weren't sure. But whatever it was, they couldn't let Su Ming get his way after they had been blocked by their array.

However, they couldn't touch Su Ming right now, so they could only touch the fox instead.

A beast that looked like that of a boar tried to bump the fox, disturbing whatever Su Ming was doing to it.

"I can't do anything with them trying to harm the fox.." Su Ming said. He called out his contract beast.

It looked like a hybrid of a dragon and leopard.
