Sarah rushed up to the creature, and he whipped around wildly. "Careful-" You say but you stop. You have to trust your cousin. "Now stop that. We just saved you. You need to be nice." "Ludo. Nice." He said. "Ludo? That's your name isn't it." Ludo nodded.
Well Sarah was always a hufflepuff.
She grabbed the sword out of the scaffold and cut the rope. He landed on his head. "Oh I'm sorry! Are you okay?" "Friend?" He asked. "Yes. I'm Sarah. This is Y/n, my cousin. Do you know how to get to the castle?" Ludo shook his head. "Nyathil! Nyathil! Nyathil!" The dragon chirped. "Oh and Nyathil. He's a small dragon." Sarah said.
Ludo, you, Nyathil, and Sarah wandered around. "Oh doors. Where'd those come from?" You looked around as they had their conversation. Your hand stayed on the hilt of the sword. You swear you saw a bubble in the distance. Had it always been following you? How come you didn't notice it until just now? "Y/n! Come on! We have to go." Sarah calls when she notices you staring somewhere else.
The four of you walk through the tunnel into a jungle. Ludo looked around uneasily. You heard shuffling. "Sarah I don't think we should be here." You comment. "Oh you two- you both are so scared over nothing-" She stops speaking. You look around. Sarah and Ludo were gone. Your hands started shaking. "HOGGLE!" you yelled. "HOGGLE SARAH'S GONE!" You yelled. "SARAH? SARAH???"
Hoggle heard screaming from the distance. He heard you shout Sarah's name. He stiffened. Sarah needed his help? "Oh I'm coming!" Hoggle said and went back and was confronted by Jareth. "And where are you going?" Jareth said looking at the crystal ball. "Sarah gave me the slip-" "We've been through this before haven't we? We both know you're running to help her." "Sarah is my friend. She ain't the one doing your puzzle." Hoggle said. Jareth tilted his head. "Here you are again, talking about Sarah as if she's your friend. No one ever stays friends with you. What do you hope to gain from helping them? The crown of the bog of eternal stench?"
"HOGGLE!" Another yell. Jareth looks over. "Oh. But Sarah's not the one who's calling for you. Could it be that you've made yourself another friend? You really must want a trip to the bog of eternal stench." "No, I'll lead them away from the castle." "You're a terrible liar...but I'll tell you this. If Y/n ever even touches you, you will become a prince...of the land of stench." Hoggle sighs and then runs off to help his friends.
"What the fuck are those things?" Jack asks looking at the crystal ball. Jareth looked. "She found the firey's." Jack squinted.
The monkey looking things began to sing and dance. You could barely move you were terrified. A machine was heard in the distance and they grabbed you and took you into the cave. The machine was comically lit with lots of different colors. Nyathil was screaming. They took their heads off and threw it to the next and reattached it. "NOT ONE OF US. NOT ONE OF US!" Nyathil tried to fly. It didn't work.
Jareth is on the edge of his seat as he watches. Why weren't you moving? You should have escaped by now.
They grabbed your head and carried you over. You were having a panic attack by now. They argued whether they should snap your neck first or chop your head off first. You could smell the metal and they put their hand over your mouth.
"Come on Y/n call for me...Call for me." He said, his leg tapping intensely. If you didn't call for him, he would have to go on his own. The blade got dangerously close, and as he was standing up you closed your eyes, bit the firey's hand and when they pulled away you yelled "JARETH! HELP ME!" Not Hoggle. Not Sarah. No one but him.
The Firey's screamed as Jareth appeared. He caught you as you fell. "Y/n." Was all he said for a moment. You opened your eyes and you breathing heavily. He held you close and sat you up. "Jar-" You begin saying but he was gone in an instant. You wondered if you had only imagined it. Hoggle yells "Y/n! We have to go! They're coming back!" He throws a rope down and you climb up. "Hoggle help I can't reach the top." "I can't!" Hoggle says. "Hoggle! They're pulling my ankle." You say. The scarf-sock falls down. Hoggle touches your hand and then you both fall through a chute.
