Chapter 105: Victim
The cold, metallic ladder stung my hands when I climbed downwards. It was dark, illuminated only by a few blue colored... strip lights, I guess.
When I reached the bottom, I was greeted by... a door. A big, metallic door. Covered in frost, soot, and other such material. It was engraved with many symbols, alchemical magic rings... markings of gears... but what struck me curious was two circular slots, and two slots in a rectangle.
Included in one of them, was a large red crystal... its color was deep and nearly filled with angst.
The rectangular ones were filled with two blades, a Red one and a Black one.
The rest were empty, my guess is that its some sort of... guild thing. Was Cobalt in a guild? I remember he was with that Arch fella, maybe they were guild mates?
I appraised the Items, maybe some clue would appear to me.

Interesting... wasn't Dice the name of... oh yeah! It was Cobalts other companion! I guess these others might be too then... what happened to Asi though?
I appraise the blades too, maybe they'll shed some light on the situation.

... huh, no results? So they are junk items now... I'd assume that if they were here then they'd be important at least, right?
Well, I have one other option at least.

Interesting! This is a fine specimen to study Cobalt, but I don't think I can touch it unfortunately....
So, without much further things to do... I place my hand on the dead cold handle, and open the door. Many things lay before my eyes and I need to mentally go through all of these.
