Chapter 70: It's Just V

When Luka kept insisting that I stick around instead of going back up to my room or hiding in the library, I finally gave in. Now we're watching a movie. Well, I'm staring at the television, pretending to watch a movie.

Luka is sitting next to me, leg crossed at the ankle, arm on the back of the couch. It's not uncomfortable being around him, but this is weird. I can't imagine either him or Dominik just… watching a movie. 

Dominik is sitting in a chair, staring blankly at the television like I am. I can tell that he's not watching it. He's not laughing at the funny parts. He's not discussing the plot like Luka is. Why is he even here?

When I sigh heavily without realizing it, they both look at me. "What?" I ask, looking back and forth between them.

"Is everything okay?" Luka asks. "Can I get you something?" 

"Nope. I'm good. Actually, you know what we should do instead? We should go get me a tattoo."
