Chapter 50: I Don't Spin

The more time I'm spending with Mark, the more nauseous I'm getting. And it's not even because I'm able to see any specific secrets, that's what's frustrating. He just keeps touching me. 

After Dominik disappeared with the gorgeous, barely clothed woman who was undressing him with her eyes, Mark was immediately doing the same thing to me. I'm not sure how much longer I can get through this "tour" and pretend to be enjoying his company. 

"These are the mezzanines," he says once we're on one of the upper floors that wrap around the dance floor below. "This is where the more lucrative tabs happen. This is also where you'll often find groups of men engaged in business. It's important, should you ever serve up here, that you keep whatever is seen or heard to yourself. This establishment is known for its confidentiality. Anything that is said or done up here stays up here. Understand?" 

"Yes, of course."
