Chapter 68: Chapter Fourteen

Georgia pretended to the others she'd just been talking with the old RCMP guy about stuff because she was interested in the force. That part was true. She hated playing the psycho kid, but she wanted to protect Sergeant Dalrymple. This guy was the only one here who could do that. Not that Jim would thank her for it.

If she was honest with herself, she had just the slightest bit of a crush on the Sergeant. Too bad he was the same age as her parents and married to her favourite teacher. Alastair mooned about her. He was nice enough, but so slow! Though to be truthful, since she was in mood - everyone was slow.
