Chapter 518: Blessing

"Uff… she really did it…" the old man gasped, staring at Xuefeng who hugged the unconscious Ming and flew down the sky. "I didn't think she would actually sacrifice herself for him…" 

"Wait… Sacrifice? Did she actually die?" the middle-aged man asked, his face turning pale. 

"Of course not but she lost something precious to her. At least that's what I think she did," the old man explained. "There was a rumor that the King of Heavens got mad that Queen Ming didn't want to give her blessing to him. The blessing was meant to connect the two and give a boost of strength to him. The obvious reason she used to reject him was the consequences of this blessing. Not only she would become weakened but she would also lose her independence." 

"Independence? So she would basically become his slave?"
