Chapter 113: Chapter 113: Underwhelming Otherworldly Mission and Domination
[3rd POV]
After the rather...irritating conversation with Ozpin and Glynda, Gwen had returned to her room, annoyance clear on her face as she was going over the conversations she had with the two. The conversation had went about as she expected it to, but it was no less annoying.
The girls hadn't gotten back yet, probably exploring Vale at this point, or continuing their team training, either way, Gwen was left alone in her room, sitting bored as she finished the book she was reading when Ozpin so rudely interrupted her.
Glancing around the room, Gwen inwardly wondered if she should accept one of the otherworldly quests, not only for the NL Tickets she would naturally get, but also for the power she'd get from it. Thanos was the one she was mostly contemplating, not only for absorbing his body and gaining his power, but also to yoink the infinity stones.
She wouldn't take the mind stone, mostly for Vision's sake, as she couldn't create an alternative with the limited abilities she'd have there, not within the time she had in that universe, as she (after asking the system) came to the understanding that after completion of the mission, she would only stay within that universe for a maximum of 1 more minute, giving her not enough time to make an alternative for Vision.
That, and she still had to figure out how to sever the connection between that universe and the Infinity stones, and a way to use the infinity stones in every universe instead of only one. Something she didn't exactly have an answer to, as they were the literal personifications of their different concepts of the MCU, not something she could simply tinker with and change.
Killing Thanos himself would be...easy enough, due to her senses giving her an easy way of dodging his attacks, and her adamantium claws being a clear way of killing the man. As even he couldn't block them, with only his comic self having a slight chance, and even that was unlikely. Uru of the MCU was enough to injure the man, same with Vibranium, so Adamantium mixed with a few other metals, should be more than enough to cleanly cut the Mad Titan.
With that in mind, Gwen breathed in and inwardly spoke to the system 'System, initiate the otherworld quest "I am Inevitable" on challenge mode'
[Otherworldly Quest Beginning. Momentarily locking powers until the user complete the mission. Due to the nature of the users powers, and certain abilities, the users powers will be stronger once they return, roughly by 10% or so]
Blinking at this piece of information, Gwen grinned, realizing that she made the right choice, as her body began to brilliantly glow, and she disappeared from the universe known as RWBY, and time slowed to a crawl.

[Earth 616 of the MCU Multiverse]
The first thing that entered Gwen's senses was the sounds of battle, of blades clashing, of screams, and of explosions. The sound of a large scale battle, one that Gwen had a feeling she knew, as she slowly began to sit up, grunting at the uncomfortable weakness that was filling her, a new feeling.
Her senses expanded as she realized where she was. She was in Wakanda, during the battle against Thanos's forces during the events of Infinity War.
Getting to her feet, she sensed the Mad Titan, the sight of Heimdall showing her the battle that was also raging on Titan, where the man was currently finishing his battle with the other forces, this being Iron Man, Starlord, Spiderman, Mantis, and a few others, all fighting tooth and nail to stop the mad titan, only to fail due to Peter Quill, aka Star Lord.
'This...is going to be easier than I expected' Gwen thought, realizing that she overestimated the Mad Titan, and the infinity stones of this reality. They were strong, sure, but not even remotely close to their comic counterparts. And due to him only having 5 of them, they were much weaker than they would be with all 6 of them.
Gwen stopped her thought process as she felt...something familiar. A pressure that surpassed anything she had felt in a long time, since...The Endless.
'...Looks like I need to do this quickly' Gwen thought, breathing in deeply as she realized that the higher forces of this multiverse were watching her, and closely.
She wasn't sure what was watching her exactly, but she had a sinking feeling that it was the Tribunal, that which keeps order in this multiverse. But it wasn't just them, she could feel the gazes of other similar beings, which she attributed to Infinity and Eternity, and perhaps Death, or even the Beyonder. Either way she needed to kill Thanos, and quickly. Then she would grab the infinity stones and his body, and get the hell out of this multiverse.
She'd be a lot less nervous usually, but not having a majority of her power has made her...nervous, and she didn't like being nervous.
Shaking off the gazes, Gwen watched with her senses as Thanos finished his battle with the other forces, and prepared to return to Earth, where he would then attempt to steal the Infinity Stone from Vision, and complete his task of killing the entirety of this universe.
She stopped when she felt something else, something...chaotic. Turning her gaze, she sighed before she swung into the trees. She had seen a certain...Scarlet Witch beginning to destroy the Mind stone of Visions, not realizing that Thanos had the Time Stone, which would make her killing Vision and destroying the stone useless.
Swinging into the tree, she watched as the Mad Titan began to march towards Wanda, while the remaining Avengers in the area tried their damndest to stop the man. Groot grew roots into the ground to attempt to restrain him, Steve Rogers struck the man with all his might, and the others threw everything at the Titan, with nothing working.
Watching with a calculating eye, Gwen waited, and waited, before eventually...
*Thwip* A web caught Wanda, pulling her back and forcing her to stop her energy beam that was about to destroy vision's stone.
"Wha-" Wanda couldn't continue as a streak blurred to Thanos, and the Mad Titan let out a pained yell.
"Man, you are...incredibly underwhelming. Like seriously, you have the infinity stones, and you can't even sense me about to kill you? I mean, good on you for dodging, but like...you still lost an arm" Gwen said, a snort escaping her as she held the decapitated arm of the mad titan. Sadly not the arm with the infinity stone.
"You-" "Yep, Me. You know, you're a lot uglier up close! Some lotion would do you wonders" Gwen hummed, before letting out a laugh as she dodged a blow from the annoyed Titan.
"Ah ah ah, better luck next time you ugly ballsack!" Gwen said with a laugh, before moving forward with a burst of speed, flicking her wrist as the dust in the area surged towards the titan.
The reality stone glowed on the man's gauntlet as the dust cleared instantly, only to look around realizing that Gwen had disappeared.
'Man this was way easier than I thought. MCU characters really are weak as hell' Gwen thought with a snort, before a soft **SHING* sounded out, and the next sound that was made was the sound of a metallic object dropping to the hard ground below, and a pained roar from Thanos.
Reappearing, Gwen webbed the Gauntlet into her hand with a smile "Bingo! Thanks for the gift big guy! I'll make sure to use them well. Oh, and don't worry your head over there Vision, you can keep yours, I just want these ones" Gwen said with a grin, looking at the handless Titan.
The other Avengers that were slowly recovering from their defeats from Thanos, watched with wide eyes as an unknown individual in a suit similar to Spiderman's, slashed the head clean off of Thanos, killing the Mad Titan with a scary amount of ease.
"Who the hell is that?" A man with metallic wings on his back asked, this being Sam Wilson also known as Falcon.
"Hey, I heard that! And I'm Ghost Spider, multiverse traveling extraordinaire! And I was just here to help, that's all" Gwen said with a smile, before webbing the large body to her side, making sure it was all next to her for the teleportation back.
She was also hoping for a bigger reward considering she completed the quest in like...5 minutes.
"Any relation to a Spiderman?" A weary Steve walked forward, not trusting of this unknown woman who just slaughtered someone their entire combined forces couldn't even scratch (literally).
"Eh, matters which one. I technically know a few dozen of them, and I myself am similar to him. But we're not related or anything" Gwen replied with a shrug, before stopping as she felt a tugging sensation.
"Huh...looks like my times up! Well, see you all later, and thanks for the stones! Maybe I'll see you all again...probably not though!" Gwen said with a grin, before a bright glow surrounded her, the Gauntlet in her hand, and the body that her other hand was touching, before she disappeared with a flash of light, leaving only one question in the air, Rocket Raccoon being the one asking it.
"What the fuck just happened?"

Reappearing in her bedroom in a flash of light, Gwen sighed as her suit disappeared from around her. "That was...disappointing to be honest. I thought it would be more challenging, but I guess that's my fault for picking arguably the easiest of the bunch, with all the Marvel characters I've got"
[Otherworldly Quest Complete!]

Details - Thanos, the Mad Titan is threatening to wipe out half of the universe, stop him.
Reward - 100 NL Tickets.
Challenge Mode - Stop Thanos with only the powers of Marvel Characters, oh, and he has 5 of the 6 infinity stones, and is wanting to kill the entirety of the Marvel universe now.
Reward - 750 NL Tickets.
Hidden Step - Complete the Quest at an incredibly fast speed, the faster the completion, the higher the reward, minimum speed must be 1 hour.

'...Damn...all that for literally a five minute mission killing a titan that was...much weaker than I thought. Well...at least absorbing him could be useful' Gwen thought, as tendrils sprouted from her arm, and instantly surrounded the man, swallowing him whole as she absorbed the Mad Titan, as a rather decent increase in physical attributes followed soon after, as well as some new and decently helpful knowledge, but not much else.
'System, convert 1,000 NL tickets into TL tickets, and then consume all of my tickets' Gwen thought, deciding against waiting to consume them like last time.

Reading through all the characters, Gwen's eyes shot wide at one specific character that she had gotten, that being...Ddraig. A character that had an ability that was perhaps the most powerful ability she could possibly have gotten, the ability known as..."Boost". An ability that would double her power when used, but could be used several times, meaning, she could multiply her power by 2, and then that by 2, and then that by 2, and so on so forth. As long as her body and soul could withstand the strain, she could boost it forever, the only limit being she could only do it every 10 seconds (Except in Juggernaut overdrive and such, but that can only be done with the boosted gear) and that boost would disappear after a certain amount of time.
With this in mind, Gwen leaned back in her bed and put away the gauntlet in a personal dimension, deciding to get a nap in order to assimilate all her new power, as she inwardly spoke the system just before sleeping.

This chapter took a disgusting amount of time to make, entirely because of the characters. But I got it done...finally.
I ended up watching the Game Awards and was...somewhat disappointed with the games revealed. BUT, a Witcher 4 trailer was released so that was exciting! Borderlands 4 looked...interesting.
There won't be another info dump for a while. And I plan on looking into ways of making the info dumps less...well, info dumpy. The wall of text that is the characters is both annoying AF to write, and probably hard to read. So instead, I was thinking of ordering it by universe maybe? That way it's easier to read? Give me ideas if you've got any! And once her system evolves again (which'll probably happen in the next world) then it'll be much slower than now, and much harder, as she'll officially begin to get planetary characters if she was to trade up, but the trade ups will start to get more strict in nature.
Gwen has completed her first otherworld mission, a rather...underwhelming one, but it only makes sense for it to be easy, considering the power she has from her Marvel characters, and getting the jump on Thanos who was over relying on the Infinity Gauntlet.
