Chapter 179: Pregananat? Prengnat!

"Filthy Poison girl, did you really think you could run away?"

As Seph was struggling to crawl away, a heavy force stepped down on her ankle. She tried to twist away, but the attackers reached down and began dragging her back to the trail.

"You even tried to poison us! Like mother, like daughter, I guess. Peh, but she's not here to protect you now, right?"

Seph got a good look at her pursuers as she was dragged back to the deer trail.

Five young to middle-aged men, all of them holding various weapons and accompanied by horses. Every one of them was also wearing a dark mask. One of them held up her poison satchel, which had been torn off of Seph when she was flung from her horse.

Over to the side, she could still hear her ride's dying gasps. One of the men had finished the job the arrow started by using a machete to chop the horse's throat.
