The young man rose to his feet, eyes locked on the eagle perched on Willow's shoulder.
'It's definitely Ghost! That maroon feather tuft on the top of his head… I've never seen another eagle like him before!'
A bit of doubt began to creep into the young man's eyes as he watched Willow exit through the tavern door.
'Ghost is dead, though. Dad's summoned bird is dead… that can't be him.'
"Yo Joff, you look a bit starstruck. You should take a seat. That girl looked a bit young for ya, y'know?"
Ignoring Lod's words, Joff began to walk away from the table.
"Oi! Joff!"
The young man failed to respond, still lost in his head as he tried to figure out if the bird he'd just seen was once his father's bound summon.
"Boys, grab onto Joff! We can't have him running off after some kid and getting himself into trouble! She was definitely below the legal age!"
At the start of the book, it's mentioned that Han's summoned eagle's name was Ghost.
^ That's a lot of 's's in a single sentence.
