Chapter 97: Duel, Warnings

Tori tossed open the door when she arrived home, attracting the stares of the rest of the team. Everyone else was home, sitting around the table while focusing on a game of cards. 

"Yo, did you bring food?"

Pierre waved his hand at the white-haired girl, hoping for some munchies.

"I might've messed up. I'll need to keep my head down for a few days."

Edol looked back up from his hand in surprise. What exactly had happened to make Tori admit defeat?

Seeing her teammates' stares, Tori decided to explain.

"So you know how some bitchy young miss messed with Seph and Edol on their date? I figured I could get revenge for y'all."

Tori's hands waved animatedly as she explained.

"I heard that she was getting married soon, so what better thing to target? I went and slept with her fiance, then hired some random people to spread the word about her getting cucked. Figured I could put a wrench in her happiness."
