Chapter 83: Chapter 81: Get Out Of My Hospital

I haven't decided on the Arc's name yet, I'll leave it that way for now.

---------------

"These are the latest events in all of the sudden Villain raid. Speaking personally, this situation is depressing. After seeing what the bad guys have done, my hope for the future is getting darker."

"I am not a pro-hero analyst. However, I can say that Mirko's latest Super Move can bring her to the top three positions. However, the fact that he lost so miserably to the villain and lost her arm for the sake of it scares me."

"Anyway, let's put this matter aside. There is another issue that is just as important. ''

"There was a big explosion in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, at noon today. No one was killed in the explosion, but the property damage was enormous. The entire area was destroyed, the buildings near the explosion, everything collapsed and collapsed without exception."

"A man's body and a red spear stuck in it were found at the center of the explosion. It is said that the man is still alive and is currently in intensive care at XXXXX hospital in Tokyo.

An image was projected onto the television.

The city in the image was in a deplorable state. The crater stretched almost 100 meters. Small buildings that used to be there and a few large buildings had collapsed. The road had peeled off like a layer of skin, and the water and gas lines had burst.

The crater was as deep as 50 meters. At the bottom of the crater was a large pool of blood. The area was closed by the police because the natural gas pipes burst.

Seeing the image on TV, people sighed with fear. As the presenter said, his prospects for the future were getting darker.

The host wasn't a pro-hero analyst, but his words were pretty accurate. Mirko's special moves, which were reflected on television, could easily place her in the top three. Yet such a pro-hero was defeated by the villain yesterday.

Relatives of the patients watching the television involuntarily turned their gaze to a man in the room. This man was Blake, the talk focus of recent times and Rumi's boyfriend.

Blake's condition frightened them. Although most of the relatives of the patients here harbored anger and hostility towards him, his current situation was causing them to become covered in a cold sweat.

Normally, relatives of patients who come here would be very worried. Because their loved ones were hurt and they were unconscious in bed, in a coma, etc., their nerves would be extremely tense and inclined to explode.

Walking down the hall, talking to the nurses all the time, stomping on the floor with one foot, biting their fingers, these and other movements were quite normal here, and everyone would consider it normal. Because their loved ones had been hurt, it was only natural for them to be nervous and ready to explode, worried that something worse would happen.

But Blake was very calm and quiet. Sitting in front of the room where Rumi lay, he was leaning his elbows on his knees, his body bent forward, looking forward with frightening serenity. There was no anger on his face, no worry, no emotion whatsoever, his expression as blank as a blank notebook.

But this statement frightened them. Blake's expressionless face reminded them of a snake entwined with its own body, burning with vicious emotions.

He just stood there and waited for the results, but it looked like he could send anyone who infects him to death with a single bite.

That's why the people who were hostile to him did not open their mouths and mind their own business.

The door to the room opposite the room where Rumi was being rested opened. This room was a room where chief physicians and many doctors gathered together and looked at Rumi's x-rays and the condition of her internal organs.

Blake stood up and walked to the front of the group leaving the room. There was no expression on his face. He had an expression as blank and emotionless as his white hair.

Even as the doctors were leaving, they were in the middle of a heated conversation. The moment the door opened, they all fell silent and looked at Blake.

One of them, a man in his higher middle years, stepped out of the group with a distressed expression and came before Blake. He had mixed feelings as he looked at Blake.

"Mr. Blake, we have a problem." The Head Doctor's face crumpled, and he began rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Instead of answering the man, Blake got up from where he was and came to the front of the group. A little over 1.90 meters tall, he had to look down on the Doctors.

"There is no problem that cannot be solved." Blake's voice was as empty as his face. Emotionless, expressionless, unresponsive, but somehow frightening.

"R--Right." The doctor nod his head as he spoke in a trembling voice, secretly swallowing his saliva.

A chill ran through his body as he met Blake's emotionless gaze and voice. He felt like he was talking to a snake. His barren eyes were fixed on him, his forked tongue sticking out, hissing softly, waiting to devour his in one swift motion.

He swallowed his saliva once more before speaking and tried to suppress his beating heart and surging emotions to speak uninterrupted.

"We have confirmed Mirko-san's status. She has severe wounds that we need to intervene in as soon as possible, and the remaining parts of her arm must be secured and bleeding must be stopped to provide a prosthetic arm...''

The doctor continued to explain what needed to be done. Blake listened patiently to the man without a word, his gaze not flickering or showing any emotion on his face. After a few minutes, the doctor was silent when he spoke.

"Then get it done." Blake frowned and expressed his displeasure.

"Erm… We were intending to do that too… but something happened. After some disagreement... well... er...'' The doctor was having a hard time speaking. His face turned ugly when he thought about the conversation inside, his heart burning with anger.

One of the doctors behind the pair took a step forward and silenced him by aligning his hand in front of the head doctor. He looked at Blake with open hostility, gritting his teeth as he spoke.

"We will not help a traitor. By majority decision, we refuse to treat Mirko - No, Rumi Usagiyama and strongly recommend that you exit as soon as possible. Our hospital will not give medical treatment to you, to her, or anyone you related."

His voice was loud and clear, sounding a little squeaky but enough to sternly explain his intentions to everyone in the hallway and Blake. A plus sign appeared on his forehead, the muscles on his face stiffened, his head trembling slightly after he finished speaking. Flames blazed from his eyes.

Blake did not respond to the man's roar. He wiped a few bits of spittle from his clothes with his sleeve and looked into the man's eyes.

Confronted with gazes of calm and indifference, the other doctors looked at him hostilely, like tigers baring their teeth. They were not afraid of Blake, as he looked at them with utter emptiness and did not reveal his killing intent.

However, this did not apply to the doctor with whom he was eye-to-eye. The doctor thought he saw a field of flame fixed on him, deep like a black hole, in his black eyes.

He was in the blazing flames, deep within the flames, a red snake staring at him with its cold eyes and measuring its prey. His forked tongue came out, hissing lightly, then he opened his mouth, revealing his four inner quivering teeth, rosy gnarled pharynx, and stomach filled with endless darkness.

But before he could leap forward, he covered his mouth as if something was holding him back. He took one last look at her before reaching out into the flames. He tangled in his own body and paid no more attention to her.

The doctor shook his head, drops of sweat that had collected on his forehead scattered and shone under the beams of light. He looked back at Blake, but none of the images just before were gone. Only the white-haired man remained, who was staring at her as blankly as a blank slate.

Blake nodded in understanding. This was strange for him. He would have smashed this man's mouth to bits before, but now he was shaking his head in understanding.

"I approve of your hostility, but what does that have to do with our topic? Rumi's injury and your hostility to me, are completely different matters." Blake folded his hands in front of his chest. He hid both his hands behind his waist, out of sight of the doctors.

So none of them noticed that his hand was clenched in such a way that the veins came out. Blake squeezed her hand, then loosened it. His clenched fist had enough power to destroy this hospital.

"These are the same things in our eyes. We will not give any treatment to the relatives of the traitor and the traitor." The Doctor's voice was shaking. His previous tough demeanor seemed to be mixed in with the weather, but his face was as stiff as ever.

"She sacrificed an arm for you and almost died. You know that'' Blake continued to look into the eyes of the group of doctors as he hid his hands behind his back.

The doctors fell silent at Blake's words. Their faces turned red. Some covered their mouths while coughing and looked the other way to hide their wrinkled cheeks; some shrunk their posture and averted their eyes.

They were aware of what Rumi was doing. The group of doctors who had personally examined her knew how severe her injuries were and how critical her condition was.

They knew that Rumi had gone there to protect them, or rather the people, and to prevent the Nomu from coming out. She sacrificed an arm for this cause and was semi-paralyzed.

None of the doctors here were bad guys. They devoted their lives to saving people and in normal times they would never do such things. If Rumi was alone, they would have done everything they could to save her.

But when they thought about what had happened in the last four months, they had no choice but to harden their hearts.

"They're not the same-" The man speaking tried to sternly refuse, but was interrupted by Blake.

"You just said it was the same thing." He stammered at Blake's indifferent voice and his direction of his words. He opened his mouth to speak again but was silenced again by Blake.

Blake raised his hand to silence the man. He didn't want to listen to his bullshit anymore. The head Doctor who spoke to him first looked and spoke.

''And you? Do you think the same as them on this matter?

The emptiness and emotionlessness in Blake's tone made it seem like he didn't care that much about his real answer. The head doctor thought so, nevertheless, he decided to answer his question.

"Even though I could do Mirko's surgery alone as the head doctor, I can't keep up with everything. I need the help of competent doctors. "The Head Doctor squinted his eyes, his face filled with guilt.

He knew what he was saying was the same as leaving Mirko to die, but there was nothing he could do.

It was very difficult for him to manage a major surgery and use his Quirk at the same time. He was no longer in his prime, as an old man in his late forties he needed competent assistants for this medical operation.

If doctors weren't helping, experienced nurses could help, but most of the nurses were also against having Mirko's surgery. He could use his hierarchy advantage to force them, but he did not. He was worried that the nurses might do something about the surgery.

He looked at Blake. He expected to see the despair in him. After all, with his words, Blake and Mirko were completely abandoned.

But contrary to what he had expected, Blake was looking at his phone without showing any emotion. He didn't know how long he had been looking at the phone, as he was embarrassed to look at Blake in the middle of his speech.

Blake did not focus on the others. He dialed a number on his phone and waited for the other party to pick him up. After a few seconds, the phone was picked up.

'Hello. There's no need to prolong the conversation...'' After calming the other party with a few words, the doctor said a few words that surprised everyone as he looked at the group.

"Buy the Fujiya Hospital. Make sure you buy even the smallest piece of stone."

''A lot of money? Not important. I'll send you a new annual chart. You will receive more than double the money you lost today and throughout the year."

"That's it, hang up." Blake finished and hung up.

After a few minutes, the phones of all the doctors, nurses, and head doctors buzzed simultaneously. When they opened their phones, they saw a message;

The man in front of them, Blake, had bought Fujiya Hospital and became its new owner.

Each turned their gaze to Blake, their new boss. Their pupils were twitching and they were having trouble holding up their phones. However, because of his next words, they could not prevent the phones from falling.

"All of you have been fired except the Chief Doctor. Let the nurses who were with you on your way out also be fired. Don't bother me...''

"Fuck off, live your pain, your sense of personal justice, and your grudge against me outside of my hospital. I want each of you to leave this place by half an hour or I will personally throw you all off my property. And I guarantee you will never want that." Blake revealed the fist he had been hiding all along.

The veins were exposed from the way he clenched his fist too much, his tense muscles showing that he was gathering an awful lot of strength behind it. As they looked at Blake's emotionless face and fist, their entire body was filled with a cold feeling. They took a step back.

**

Blake was standing in front of a door, breathing heavily. Calming his anger and killing intent, he closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose lightly.

His eyelashes trembled and he opened his eyes. The emotionless look in his raven-black eyes had disappeared, and a selfless and warm look settled in his eyes. He smiled kindly, his blank expression just gone with the blowing wind.

He grabbed the doorknob and took a deep breath before stepping inside.

Click!

He turned the doorknob slightly. With a rhythmic sound, the door opened and he entered. The smell of disinfectant, bleach, and various cleaning materials filled his nose. A warm wave of air stroked his hair, causing his ponytails to sway.

He was walking silently, thinking that Rumi was asleep, but when the door opened, he met the ruby-colored eyes of the chocolate-skinned woman he loved.

Eyes glowing with a precious light as red as rubies looked at him, then at his hair, gathered in a ponytail.

"We're more alike now." One lip lifted. Her wild face wore a dreamy expression as she looked warmly at Blake.

The noon sun was shining through the window, illuminating Rumi's face like a fairy. But Blake knew she wasn't a fairy, the woman before him was more ferocious than the most dangerous tiger. She was his tiger.

Her white hair was blown to the side like a small waterfall by the wind. Her ears were moving excitedly back and forth from the moment she saw him. Her tail twitched violently.

"True." Blake smiled cautiously, his gaze overflowing with warmth. He closed the door with one hand and went to Rumi.

He sat in the chair by the bed. He looked Rumi in the eye. Held her sturdy hand, talking as he gently rubbed her palm with his index finger.

"How are you feeling? I'll take care of you until the surgery. If there's anything you want, just say it."

If another girl was going to see Blake's testimony, she would have been red. Rumi did not react except her cheek glowed with slight redness. She looked Blake in the eye and spoke with a big smirk that exposed all her teeth.

''Thanks. I'm putting myself in your hands." She tilted her head slightly forward and rested her forehead on Blake's. Finally reunited with the man they loved, two bunny ears were rubbing all over Blake's head, enveloping him completely with their scent, and relieving the longing that had accumulated in her since Blake's absence.

It was a natural reaction. No matter how hard Rumi tried to hide her feelings, the fluffy bunny tail and both ears always gave her away. After all, one can be deceitful, but the body does not lie.

The two started talking. They didn't make a big speech or try to quench the longing. Because they both knew it wasn't the right time for that. Rumi needed positive emotions and needed to prepare for the upcoming surgery.

Of course, there was no danger of death in this operation, after all, Blake was here and he would not allow such a thing to happen.

It wouldn't hurt to be prepared though.

Normally, the operation had to be done immediately. Rumi's internal injuries were very severe and they needed to intervene immediately to prevent an irreversible injury.

But the surgery was prolonged because of the Doctors' refusal, and after Blake fired them, it would take at least a few hours for the new doctors to arrive and understand the situation and prepare for the surgery.

Until then, he wouldn't leave her side even for a second. He would make sure to stay with her after the operation.
