Chapter 96: War of the Northern Fields Part 4

Soteria and the general stood before each other. The general had a serious expression plastered on his face while uttering threatening words with a cold tone. "You bastard dared to kill my subordinates. You are courting death!" His voice was deafening as it would have made an ordinary spirit's eardrums explode. 

Soteria didn't think much about the general's arrival. Instead, she continued staring at her prey, who had thought hope had emerged. To be honest, Soteria had believed that the Unaffiliated Spirit Captain would be hiding and waiting for a chance to attack. But from the looks of it, they were smarter than the way they acted.

They called for their big daddy for help. 

"The way your captain officers acted was relatively disappointing. And here, I thought they would give me a challenge. It seems that the only thing they know how to do is run away. They even left one behind who had foolishly sacrificed himself to buy time that almost didn't even matter."
