Chapter 89: The Next Day

A day had already passed since the execution of the higher-ups. With the power vacuum left behind by them, the city of Anfang was in relative chaos. Anyhow, another day had begun, and the golden sun was slowly rising from the line of the boundless horizon. Atop the northern gate, a gorgeous young lady sat on its concrete floor. 

She was silently gazing over the beautiful, radiant dawn with a slight smile plastered on her face. While looking over the scenery, she turned her gaze towards the right side of her. She was looking over her subordinates, who were currently under a hangover from heavy drinking. 

"These two actually dared to challenge me in a drinking competition." Alastair slightly chuckled as she could see numerous empty bottles right beside them. Well, her side had more bottles than the two of them combined. Anyway, a new day had started for Alastair Hecate. With the execution of the higher-ups, it was time to take the second step.
