Silence governed the space between both of them. 

In as much as the Paladin King didn't want to believe Amelia's word because he was suspicious of her, he still couldn't dare to jump into a fight with her. 

The first thing was, he can't be too sure she is not with her powers. Of course, her divine powers are long gone, if they are not there's no way she'd be standing right in front of him. It is no news that arch-angels can't manifest themselves on it.

He knew very much that Amelia wasn't banished for the same reason that he was. More so, Amelia was a Seraph which meant she was on a higher hierarchy than him. He does not know how much power a seraph will be left with when banished. 

But he knows that she will have something because even he had some powers left. 

He was very skeptical about having to face Amelia in a fight. 

If he will have his way he'd avoid it.
