Chapter 37: Abducted
"Are you okay? look at all of you, but you are collecting only one room?" The bartender who was a fat lady said to him.
"We apologize, only our young master will be staying there, we kind of had our money stolen on our way so we are coinless." Knight Gustav replied, repeatedly bowing politely, it could have been to gain the favour and pity of the bartender.
He came back to where I was seated and slipped the bronze key with a wooden tag that says 12 to me. I grabbed it and straightway stood up, my eyes went towards the stairs that were in the right corner some metres to the right of the bar. I went upstairs alone and settled in the room.
"Those darn bastards, if at all they couldn't protect their lives they should have at least protected the money. And those assassins, they came to assassinate but had the time to steal while they were at it. I will get my money back."
I lay on the bed staring at the dark roof, which was still dark even after lighting up the lamp.
"So what are you going to do now?"
"What else, I have to find the assassins and get Denethor back."
"Denethor or the money."
"Both"
"Then how do you plan to go about it?"
"Aaaaaarrggghhh!! stop asking me I don't know!" I let out my frustration kicking my leg around and slapping my arms around.

"Who gave you the permission to enter?" I asked before he could finish his enquiry.
"I apologise..." He said, bowing his head.
"Don't you ever enter this room without knocking and receiving permission?" I said to him before he exited.
"Yes, young lord." He replied and closed the door after leaving.
My eyes swayed towards the window, "Even if I go out, it's night already, who will I meet?"

An anchor suddenly fell into my room through the window, it had a very thick rope tied to it.
"Now now, would you look at that...!" I smiled and gently laid back and closed my eyes.

Their stealth skill was trashy, I was desperately praying for them not to get discovered by the knights that were outside, except if those bastards have all slept off in front of the door as they had nowhere to sleep.
"Shhuuu, don't make too much noise, just tie his body and gently throw him down, Sierri will be waiting down to catch him."
These guys, even have the time to chat while kidnapping someone.
They gently wrapped the ropes around me and tied my hands and legs tightly, I must admit their tying skill in the world is superb or it is just that these guys are pros because even way they tied me, if I was asleep, I might not have woken up, except Ana shouted into my ear of course.
They carried me and threw me down with minimal sound, I wasn't worried about falling on the floor, I was worried they would be found out because of it. But to my surprise, I fell right into huge arms. I was put on a cart and immediately driven away.
I was joyful that they had successfully carried out their plan...

My eyes slowly opened to a whole new scenery, ah crap, I felt disappointed in myself as I remembered that I fell asleep and didn't even know as I was brought in.
"Damn, my neck hurts..." I slowly raised my head, it was hard to move my body only later did I realize it has been tied to a chair.
"You are quite the sleeper aren't you?" Anastasia said.
"Why didn't you wake me?"
"I wanted my Goshujin to rest, using ars ignis is not a joke, I don't want you straining your body after that, besides your body is still growing and will continue to get better, next time don't do something as reckless as using skills you are not ready for, even if you know about them."
"...heard you, where are we?" I looked around the small, cosy dark room as I asked.
"The enemy's hideout"
The door slowly creaked open and a brown-haired guy in a white-coloured shirt entered.
"Oh? Our customer is awake." He said, having quite a quite happy expression on his face.
He dragged another chair and sat in front of me. "look at how fresh you are. Tell me, who's your father?"
His breath fuxking stank, I would have loved to be polite to him but I couldn't keep on taking that stench, hence I drifted my face sideways a bit to avoid it. However, that seemed to have agitated him.
"What the hell?!! Would you look at this kid, you think I'm filthy just because you were born into a good family and I have to hustle hard in the slums?"
He had it all wrong, even from his reaction, I could tell he had an insecurity issue.
I looked at his agitated face, one thing I was incredibly good at and loved for even back on earth is my brutal honesty.
"Hustling is not an excuse to have stinking breath, you probably spent the whole night drinking and making out with a different woman and after waking up didn't give thought to a few minutes of washing yourself and your mouth." I said to him, "...you've become so wrapped in filth that you have become absent-minded even to your self-care."
He looked at me, and even intense anger invaded his demeanour, that was the intention, after all, I needed an aggro to make an entrance and pull attention. And he just so happens to be the perfect fit. However, I was being honest with him.
He grabbed my clothes aggressively and raised his hand to punch me, just then the door opened and another guy entered.
"Hey!! Hallap, what the hell do you think you are doing?!" He said, hurriedly reaching him and grabbing him away.
"Blaze"
A thread of fire instantly surrounded the rope and burnt it all around, I stood up gently and looked at their faces which were covered in shock.
"Oh my God, he's a mage." the other guy said, for some reason, I was yet to know, he was grinning.
