Chapter 528: Following a Trail of Blood

Exhausted and injured, Daniel rested on the stone floor in order to allow his body to recover his strength, and heal from his internal and external injuries as fast as possible. In the same span of time, his breathing and heartbeat had stabilized, almost as if he had rested for several hours.
