Once every was on the stage the chairmen said
"Hello everyone at home and present, today a Dungeon outbreak at noon today and has been handled by our hunters here"
Just then a journalist raised his hand and said
"Sir, what news have you on the late increase of Dungeons forming and the recent outbreaks around the world"
The chairmen said as Mike listened closely to what to chairman was going to say
"We were told by the Dungeon Investigation agency that we would have more information soon but that is for another time for we are here to reward these brave men and women for their service in defending their country"
Mike and the others stood stall and proud as the reporters and journalists stared at them but Mike importantly Mike who was wearing a mask before a reporter asked Mike with pointing her microphone to him
"Sir, why do you wear the mask? What Hunter Rank are you? Do you have any relations to your fellow Hunters next to you?"
Mike looked and scarlet and said as he grabbed her hand and put it in the air over their heads and said
"I am an ally to the Majestic Beasts Guild and I want my identity to remain a secret and I will not tell my hunter rank"
Everyone besides the chairman, Jin and mikes father were surprised by this before the chairmen held his hand up as the crowd started to get louder and louder before they started to quiet down till the chairmen said as he pulled a small box from his system's Storage
"James and Jim Xailin, please step forward to receive this gift from the Hunters initiative personally"
Mikes father and Jin walked forward before the chairmen opened the box to reveal 3 small Black balls when the chairmen said with a smile on his face
"Inside are three Advancement Cores for you to use how you see fit"
Scarlet, Sam and the crowd looked absolutely stunned when Mike asked scarlet quietly
"What's an Advancement Core?"
Scarlet grabbed mikes arm and said while looking at the chairmen
"An Advancement Core is an item that allows you to reform and refine your status but there's only 50 in the whole world after the emergence of the National Hunters so even I know very little about them"
Mike was surprised before mikes father took a core out of the box and said as he walked over to Mike and placed it in his hands
"Thank you chairman, and I will give one to my son here since he helped us in the defence of our country and handled a Skeleton DeathKnight alone with his bare hands"
Mike saw the core that was the size on an apple in his hands and looked up to see everyone stare at him before he heard his father say in his ear
"Even if you don't care about me, I will always be there for you"
Mike looked at his father before he shrugged off his arms and stood on the opposite side of scarlet to separate them before Jin walked back over to James and said in his ear
"You could've given it to Samantha you know"
James held Jin's hand on his shoulder and said as the chairmen and the staff did there best to calm the crowd
"He'll need it more then me, Sammy can have mine"
Jin rested her head on his shoulders and said as the crowd started to quiet down
"Always the selfless one, when will you tell him?"
James just remained quiet as the chairmen was handed two more box's and said while looking at Scarlet and Sam
"Guild Masters of the Majestic Beasts and the Blue Phoenix guilds please step forward"
Sam and scarlet took a deep breath and walked forward before the chairmen handed them each a box slightly wider than the one Jim and mikes father received and said
"You and your guilds helped evacuate the citizens from harm and have risked your lives for them so they may carry on, so I award you and your guilds a trip to visit our H.T.C.D for your new equipment that is waiting for you there"
Sam and scarlet looked so happy that they wanted to scream while Mike was curious of the HTCD stands for before jin said
"In case your wondering, H.T.C.D stand for Hunters Training and Crafting Division for hunters who go and look for new equipment"
Mike took a mental note of this before the chairmen looked at Mike and said as he pulled a small silver card on of this pocket
"And finally for one of our latest hunters who single handedly brought down a DeathKnight during this Outbreak with his bare hands alone and to the son of the honourable hunter James Xailin I chairman John Scott Halsin hereby promote you to A-Rank"
Mikes father and the rest smiled while the crowd were amazed as Mike walked forward to see his photo on the Hunter Verification Card before he held it over his chest and said as he shook the chairmen's hand
"I will do my best to not disappoint you"
The chairmen smiled and wrapped his arm around Mike and whispered in his ear while the reporters and journalists started to ask questions as well as take photos
"We need to have a talk privately regarding your store"
Mikes emotions changed from happy and joyful to worried and anxious in an instant before he heard the chairmen say
"Follow Edward to my office please I'll be there shortly"
Mike notice Edward(Scarlets Grandfather) standing by the doors before he nodded and said as he walked past scarlet
"I'll be busy for a few days so my shop will be closed for about a week"
Scarlet smiled and said as she gave Mike a hug
"You take your time and remember that you're not alone"
Mike noticed sam staring at them and said once scarlet let go of him
"If you would like, I would like to have you as a ally?"
Sam shook mikes hand and said before Mike followed Edward inside
"It would be my pleasure"
Once Mike had left scarlet turned to sam and said while they started walking away from the hunter's initiatives headquarters
"For his sake, let's try to get along alright?"
Sam nodded and said
"Agreed, so what was his deal with Glen Grames brother? If I'm not mistaken he is in your guild right?"
Scarlet then explained why Mike hated Gideon Grames and said after explaining it
"So, just keep your guy on a short leash"
Sam was a little surprised after hearing this and asked scarlet
"What about your member?"
Scarlets face turned cold for a moment before she said as she continued to walk
"We…. Won't be seeing him anytime soon so don't worry about it"
Sam stopped and said to herself as she started to walk in the opposite direction
'A wolf is no match for a dragon I guess…. Shame he couldn't join us'
