Chapter 11: Ep.11 Elvish Labyrinth
The next day Mike woke up to his phone ringing and answered it saying
"Hello?"
Mike wait a few seconds before he heard a familiar feminine voice say as Mike got up and dressed
"Hello Mr.Grant I hope I didn't wake you"
Mike checked the time and saw that it was 6:40 am and said
"You kinda did, who is this?"
Mike heard the voice say as Mike started his morning routine
"This is Aylin Roose, vice chairman of the Hunters Initiative"
Mike after some though remembered Aylin and asked as he poured himself a glass of orange juice
"How can I help you miss Vice-Chairmen"
As Mike was drinking his glass of orange juice he heard Aylin say
"I need your skills for a translation"
Mike nearly choked on his drink as Mike heard a knock on his door and opened it to see Aylin standing there in a sports bra with jogging pants holding a briefcase
Mike stared at Aylin for a few moments before he slammed the door in her face but Aylin knocked on the door again and said as she kept knocking
"Mr.Grant, I need to speak with you about a dungeon relic Translation it's very urgent"
Mike knew that he would get a noise complaint and opened the door and stood to the side before Aylin walked in and looked around before she set the briefcase down on the table before Mike said as he sat down across from Aylin
"Let's get this over with, what do you want translated"
Aylin open the case and slid over a photo of a ruined temple and said as she started showing pictures of a ruined temple's wall with some symbols and a warrior holding a sword with a picture of a rising sun on the left and a full moon on the right
"Two days ago, A dungeon raid on the western Seaborne had taken place and they came across this with them shortly afterwards sending these photos to us"
Mike grabbed a photo of the temple and found it intriguing and slightly familiar before he looked at the other photographs while Aylin said
"Our researchers have only managed to decipher Three symbols"
Mike saw May parts of the runic wall remain unreadable and asked Aylin as he look at the other photos
"Do you have a pen and paper?"
Aylin understood why Mike asked this a took out a pen a paper from her suitcase and was ready before Mike laid out all three photos and said while pointing to various symbols in the photos
"I can translate everything but I can understand a few lines and this seems to be a mix of both Elf and Dark Elf for these. 'On the rising of the Moon and the setting of the Sun, A warrior of both light and dark-' then it seems the rest on this was destroyed unfortunately"
Aylin quickly wrote down what Mike had said and heard Mike continue saying what he could read from the photos
"'From mothers grace and a fathers fate, a woman's love and a friend's hate will mark the beginning of-'. the rest I can't translate but can I know what type of dungeon this was found in?"
Aylin stood up and pulled out her phone before she said the Mike as she started to call someone
"I'll have to ask the Chairmen if it's okay as this is a sensitive matter to discuss"
Mike looked at the final photo and saw a small symbol of a star chained to the warrior, sun and the moon however the chain connected to the warrior was broken by an arrow before Aylin said with a smile as she sat down at the table
"The dungeon was a Elvish Tomb or rather a labyrinth, these photos were taken from its centre after the boss was killed and and chairman has asked me to escort you to the Hunters Training Centre for more combat testing after we're done here"
Mike looked at the time on his phone to see it was 8 o'clock and said as he handed the photos back to Aylin
"Give me the address and I might stop by later, I still have to tend to my shop as I plan to open to the public next week"
Aylin looked at Mike for a moment before she said as she was getting ready to leave
"May I see this shop?"
Mike gave it a moment's thought before he opened the door for Aylin and said
"I'll think about it, now I have to get ready"
Aylin quickly left leaving Mike to get dressed and ready before he went to the shop and continued to experiment with the Magic Crafting and managed to craft 2 more supporting spells for a [Blindness Cure] that can heal any low tier Blindness and a [Speed Boost] that can temporarily increase the level of Agility by 5% for 10 seconds and continued to make these new spells the the rest of the day and did a few dungeon training sessions before he went home for the next day
