Chapter 79: Lock IN!

"Your majesty…"

"Stop calling me that," Felipe said, getting annoyed by the whole thing even though he had won favourable terms with the British Government.

He was still highly pissed with the Jews and their outright refusal and unwillingness to elaborate whatsoever, though they didn't need to; they had done so already! Felipe was just annoyed by the level of things not going exactly according to plan.

He wanted to make the Jews pay for his war, get the throne of Greece and leave for the rocky place.

"… That…"

"What?" Felipe asked as he was still annoyed.

"How would you like me to call you?" Aurelio asked, looming over the carriage's floor.

"Brat, I don't know, just not a title." It would normally be customary for Aurelio to call him that, as it was how he addressed him when Felipe was a brat. All in all, the fact was that Felipe was not an adult, at least not on paper, and calling him sir would be inappropriate, so most people ended up calling him by his title.

"…Young Man… you are not a brat anymore," Aurelio said slowly.

"Right," Felipe said, looking to the side.

"Young man… I forgot… nothing." Aurelio said as he swallowed his words.

--

Felipe looked at the wall as he thought for a long while.

"I am not handling puberty in a good way." He concluded as he realized how insane his mood swings have been lately.

He was no General, so he left the army stuff to Bolivar, which paid off. He knew basic tactics and had been studying for a while, which gave him enough confidence to fight against the Venezuelan rebels independently.

He has won, but he has won, looking for something other than a victory. He was looking for death in some sort of way, more literally than figuratively.

Felipe laughed softly as he understood the ridiculousness of his thoughts.

Slowly getting up, he adjusted his clothes before leaving for the small patio on the first floor of the Embassy, where he could breathe fresh air.

"… Ahh, What I am going to do." Felipe was quite confident that if he were to leave for Greece, he would become king and somewhat make it up to his ancestors, yet he knew that he was not even the person who was supposed to be born; he was a reincarnation.

'What should I do?' The giant particle of white snow falling right in front of his face stole his attention. It was already turning into winter, and traveling to Russia and Austria would be a mess.

'Better go to France only… The Austrians don't care and are busy enough putting new words to slavery… Russia will go into a war with the Turkish irrespective of What I do… The matter with France is more pressing… The Ship manufacturing will be better used to put into that company. Plus, I still have to figure out the African Colonial mission… Felipe thought annoyingly; I should start sending explorers to map the Congo.

"I just have to keep working."

--

11 Days later.

Felipe took a feather and slowly signed his name after rereading the contract between the parties.

"It is a pleasure to do business with you," Felipe said as he shook the director's and then the prime minister's hands.

"For a future and long friendship within our countries," the prime minister added with a smile, as they had signed quite an economic treaty with the East India Company's significant influence.

Usually, such deals would not take place in such an environment. However, Felipe's debt was at 4.5 Million Pounds, and the predicted amount the deal would end up being would profit the company by 1 to 8 million pounds for the next decade, depending on how much the Sewing Machine would fetch in the market.

Felipe has tried to send letters to cover the entirety of his family's and empire's interests.

The plan to leave for Greece intensified as he sent a letter to the current Dictator of Greece showing his interest in visiting in a position other than a tourist or foreign visit.

He has sent the laws his empire must pass to cooperate with the Trans Atlantic Shipping Company. Felipe has confidence in the Political power in his empire so much that even though he is pretty far away, he knows that any law he puts forward will pass.

Venezuelan Policy was also made during his time there, and he appointed a new ambassador to the USA. He felt somewhat productive and thought that the time he spent lost at sea was not lost anymore.

He even went to the editorial to see how everything was going on and the fact that they were preparing to mass print the books he wrote while going there; after all, chapters were being slowly released in every issue of the newspaper, and this one was getting ready to be sold completely in hard copy, which was a huge source of income to pay off his fucking debts.

He also inspected the matches factory in the UK and visited places he had not seen in forever.

Felipe took over Wilfred's finances. He had come to London to the Embassy because he would try to do business there.

He spent the whole day with Wilfred before meeting the East India Company and explained how things would work and how the Embassy would help him set up every financial aspect; he was also not alone, as he was with his wife.

They stayed in the Embassy, which was not as massive as the Embassy in the USA; however, it had more than one room to spare for guests. He was not looking to deal with hundreds of millions of deals; after all, he needed to look at every contract letter multiple times to see if it had not disappeared.

Now, starting a cookie business is fun stuff. He needed help as he did not entirely know the law of London or the UK, but he was very well-versed in contracts.

Despite the contract being worth hundreds of millions of dollars in 21st-century money, the British played relatively fair to what was considered an inferior country. He could only blame the king; after all, George the 4th was mentioned multiple times during the negotiations of final details, expressing his interest in the Ottoman Empire to much despise of the Prime minister.

"Are you Ready to throw your palace through the window when you turn 17?" Aurelio asked while they were having supper and November was closing in.

"Not really... I just learned that my CEO of the Matches Company has bought the slaves from the Governor of South Carolina, and there is a bit of an uproar in the northern states. It is a fucking mess… by the time I will be having a party, I would just know if the editorial in New York has been burnt to the ground in protest of my business or if they were savvy enough to be unfazed... god, I have to take out the editorial from New York."

Felipe has already been planning for the extended future and buying a lot of commercial real estate, especially in super conglomerations of future finances, such as New York and London. That is why finding Wildfred and his wife a place to set up the bakery was easy.

"Heh, buying slaves, you?" Aurelio could not contain himself and laughed in chuckles. Over the days that Felipe was putting the negotiation into paper, Felipe's attitude has become somewhat tamed enough to be pleasant to be around once again.

"Shut up. The cotton business is going rather well, plus he has bought the most beautiful fertile land in the south." Felipe laughed at the indications and the divine irony that was happening.

The Trading of Slaves was abolished by the British 20 years ago, in 1807, so it was rather complicated to get new ones. Any place they came from would most likely be from the other American Plantations.

"…I did not expect that."

"Relax, they are being freed… but as I have made a point of making, between slave and labourer, there is hardly any difference." Felipe laughed awkwardly.

"Ahh. Then, you will be angering the Southerners. "Aurelio Chuckled.

"If they are so blockheaded that they do not know what has been my position for so long, then they are a lost cause." Felipe chuckled without a care in the world about what the Southerners would say.

"I do not understand why a secret can't remain a secret." Felipe chuckled.

"You talk to powerful people."

Felipe inhaled deeply and added: "There are people inside the government who do not want me to rule.

"The British Cane up knocking the moment we got the ability to manufacture our sewing machines looking for a patient… to clear up 1 million in debt… it was a top-secret project."

"To be fair, it has been developing for a while already," Aurelio said.

"Yeah, it still leaked, which is annoying."

"…"

"In other news, I do have a fiancee."

"What!?"
