Regor then found himself breathless, facing the Hotel de Alma. However, before he could make sense of what happened, the brown dog pounced on him again and died.

"Hah. hah. hah," Regor gasped for breath. Once again, he found himself transported back to the past, standing in the same spot.

If Regor didn't understand what had happened, then he was an idiot! 

Regor narrowed his eyes and silently counted, clutching the knife in his pocket tightly.

"3. 2. 1."

Regor extended his arm backward and thrust the kitchen knife straight at the dog. However, the dog reacted faster, biting the knife and tossing it away.

And... Once again, Regor's gaze darkened, finding himself 10 seconds before.

"Hah. Hah. Hah. That dog is abnormal," Regor scowled, still feeling the pain of dying three times.
