Closing the door behind him, he caught a glimpse of Doug falling to the floor, unconscious. Doug had employed a complex technique of the pact distorter to swap their doors, ensuring Philip's arrival within the city rather than amid the monster wave.

A short, amused chuckle escaped Philip. He then turned around and surveyed the now-silent dream city, devoid of its usual bustling citizens. He had anticipated this, knowing that all citizens engaged in the battle had treaded 30 minutes away. As for the others, they remained hidden within the mentalists' consciousness spaces.

Philip hastened to the wall and looked out over the vast expanse of the dream world. There, he witnessed the approaching dream monster wave, with numerous mentalists and citizens at the forefront, rapidly nearing the wall.
