"RAWRR"
In that moment, the White Tiger Cub suddenly pounced onto the deer.
"Oh no, I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead." The deer closed its eyes as it thought that it will met its end soon.
Few moments later...
The White Tiger cub's impulsive pounce on the deer initially instilled fear, yet because the deer didn't feel any pain and harm, it left the deer bewildered.
"I'm not dead?" Opening its eyes to a surprising scene, the deer witnessed the White Tiger cub, not in an aggressive stance, but rather in a playful demeanor akin to a kitten's innocent antics.
"Ohhh, you actually want to play?" Understanding the cub's intention to play, the deer found it impossible to resist the adorable charm radiating from the White Tiger cub.
"Urghh, fine..." Despite lingering soreness, the deer conceded to the cub's playful desires, allowing a moment of interaction.
However, what commenced as playful interaction swiftly transformed into a whirlwind of relentless activity.
"No!"
"Not fine at all!!"
"I regret it! PLEASE STOP!!"
The cub's vigor and boundless energy left the deer helplessly at the mercy of the cub's exuberance. Chased, pounced upon, and incessantly played with, the deer struggled to keep pace with the tireless cub.
Hours passed like fleeting moments, and fatigue began to weigh heavily on the deer. Nearly collapsed from exhaustion after enduring the cub's ceaseless playfulness for an arduous 10 hours, the deer found solace only when the White Tiger cub finally relented and settled into rest.
"Huft, huft, huft~~~"
"F-finaly... it's o-over..., I should've left that cub alone that time."
Breathless and drained, the deer's mind swirled with mixed emotions. Amidst the desperation from the physically taxing playtime, a peculiar sense of satisfaction lingered within the deer.
Even though the deer thought like that, but in fact that was not the deer's true intention, because the deer was actually didn't feel any regret for saving the White Tiger cub.
In a moment of reflection, a resolve surged within the deer. The deer will ensure that the White Tiger Cub will not view it as food or an enemy, but as the cub's family.
"Uhm, a family huh?" The deer remembered some memories of its past life as a human.
In the deer's previous life, he had no parents and just lived alone in an orphanage until he grew up, and if he wasn't mistaken, he had the surname "Feng" in his name.
Even though he lived in an orphanage, he understood the essence of having a family, or what could be said to be people we love and can trust. Because, in its past life, he had many brothers and sisters in the orphanage
With that, the deer determined to foster a familial bond with the White Tiger Cub, the deer pledge to protect this White Tiger Cub. With a heartfelt intention to care for the cub as a sister, the deer decided to bestow names upon themselves.
Addressing the cub with a gentle gaze, the deer spoke softly, "Since we're destined to live together, I'll name you Feng Linlin. As for me, I'll be Feng Qian." Affirming the newfound familial ties, Feng Qian vowed to safeguard and nurture Feng Linlin as a cherished part of its life.
