"For some reason, I feel like we should check the minifridge," Sonic mumbled, not really wanting to even entertain the thought. "If there's something important in there and we gloss over it just because I don't want to deal with the smell, I'd feel pretty stupid."
"Alright," Knuckles replied, walking to the minifridge. He opened it, and as soon as he did, the smell of death and decay covered the room. At this point, even Knuckles had to resist the urge to gag. So I will leave it up to you, the reader and your imagination to guess how Sonic was doing. Raw spoiled meat came out of the minifridge like a tidal wave and piled up on the floor, making a gross splat noise. Blood puddled under the meat, which was infested with long dead maggots and mold. Even the maggots had mold. It seemed centuries over-expired.
"I'm gonna puke..." Sonic gagged and ran out of the room. Knuckles followed right after. Immediately upon closing the door, Sonic took a deep breath of the fresh, cold, and now night air streaming in from the open entrance door.
"Ugh... that was awful," Knuckles groaned. "Not even Eggman would keep that stuff."
"I never want to eat again..." Sonic wheezed.
