Aya's POV
Hades was kind enough to lead Enikil and I back up to the surface of the world again in a flash. We appeared right where my hut was. Or a should say, used to be.
He disappeared within seconds to attend to the underworld, which was understandable, the underworld was huge.
All I could do was look around in a bit of shock. The entire village was gone, and in its place, tall grass and weeds that had grown along with the seasonal wildflowers. The air smelled sweet from it. Many trees had been cut back to make a better walkway down to the water, and widen the road. I bent down, my fingertips gently caressing a small purple bloom. "So, about what time is it, and how many years did we skip?" I asked him quietly, almost not wanting to hear the answer.
