CH108: REASON AND PRICE

Just before Brigadier General Fapohunda began his narration, Colonel Balogun shot Korede a look. It allowed him to understand the purpose of his presence here.

Everyone in the room was a bigwig in one way or form with high-security clearance. It didn't make sense that a mere sergeant such as himself was present.

The only reason Korede was present is that he was pretty much a human lie detector. His intuition allowed him to know if someone was lying.
