Chapter 49: Chapter Forty-nine

Ethan cursed under his breath as he saw the dark shapes of the Silver Moon pack emerging from the trees. He had hoped to find Ariana, and they had tracked Ariana's elusive trail, only to find themselves on the brink of a confrontation they were unprepared for, the silver moon pack had found them, and they were out for blood.

"They're here!" he shouted to his pack, who were scattered around the campsite. "Gather everything, we can't fight them here. We need to move. Now!"

Werewolves, their breaths visible in the chilly night air, scrambled to dismantle their tents and gather a few of their belongings, they needed to travel light. The hunt for Ariana had led them to this forest, but the tables had turned, and the pursuers had become the prey.
