Chapter 327: Restless

His lashes flickered rapidly, and he took a long, deep breath to calm himself down. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his clothing and walked out of the living room to his room. He stepped in and shut the door, then made his way to the bathroom. 

He turned the tap at the sink on and scooped the gushing water to wash his face. He stared at himself through the mirror, and what happened seconds ago flashed in his mind, causing his grip on the sink to tighten. He quickly shook his head and washed his face yet again.

What was going on? Why was Ileus so mad at him? What exactly did he do wrong? These questions whirled in his mind, and a restless feeling took over him. Why does he even care this much? Ileus's being angry at him doesn't mean anything to him, does it? He looked at his reflection in the mirror and questioned himself. 

'You and Ileus are mates.' he quickly shook his head on recalling this and took a deep breath when the restless feeling persisted.
