I was tired, exhausted, and drained. I couldn't forget how he kissed me aggressively until we ended up naked and both satisfied.
Right after that intimate morning session, Lisandro quickly wore his clothes while I took a quick rest. Most of my body was hurt especially the thing between my legs.
But before he opened his mouth, I'd forced myself to stand and changed as quick as I could. I didn't want to act like I was an entitled woman, not in front of my jaw-dropping boss.
I had no time to organize my room as we left it messy and chaotic as a natural disaster happened. It was an embarrassing moment for me. I was afraid that he might think that I'm an unorganized woman. That I'm not capable of cleaning my room and the entire house.
Until we went into one of his luxurious cars, I was still thinking about it. I'd tried to get rid of those nasty thoughts, yet nothing happened.
"Where are we?" I asked him.
"We're almost there," he replied as he drove the car like a racer. Lisandro didn't bring any of his guards with us, but I knew they would appear right in front of us when we needed something. "Are you hungry?"
I shook my head as an answer. "I'm fine. I just want to take a nap."
That was true. My eyes were too heavy, maybe because of what had taken place last night. That he thought there was someone around the house, waiting for the perfect moment to invade and steal things inside.
Abruptly, I yawned as expected. I'd been fighting it along the way, otherwise, I wouldn't see the beautiful nature right before my eyes. The green, lively trees and the serene roads are surrounded by blooming flowers.
"We're almost there, Andy," he repeated, but I didn't think I could still stop my eyes from closing.
"Deduct it in my salary, Mr. Realm," I told him as I closed my weary eyes and listened to the car's engine.
"Wake me up once we arrive." At that moment, I just took a deep breath and I'd found myself in the middle of the dark forest.

"We're here,"
"Wake up now, gorgeous lady."
I heard his husky voice evidently as he brought me back to reality. I thought I would be forever in that lifeless forest surrounded by darkness.
"L-Lisandro!" I exclaimed surprised him.
He gulped and stared at me for seconds. "Shh, calm down. It was just a bad dream." he comforted me through his adorable charisma.
I sighed, swallowed greedily, and freed the fear within my heart. He was right. It was just a dream—a dream that seemed real.
"You're right, but—" I replied as I looked down to my feet. "Where are we?"
Lisandro didn't utter a single word. Instead, he opened the door, went off, and walked around. I smiled sweetly when he offered his hand to me gracefully.
He said shortly, "We're here."
His voice repeated uncountable times. My feet were glued into the ground covered with dried, colorful leaves. And there was strong energy that punched my heart that made me nervous.
"Wait, I need to take a deep breath," I told him calmly.
To be honest, it was one of the unforgettable moments of my life. The breathtaking mansion before my eyes was a dream come true—a little girl's dream has finally come true. It was impossible in the beginning, not until I saw it with my naked eyes.
It was bounded with tall, indestructible walls and built on the peakiest part of the forest. It was a stunning sight and I couldn't stop myself from smiling widely.
"Shall we? There must be waiting for us." Lisandro said and held my hands tightly.
I knew it was a safe place for me, that his parents would accept me as their son's beloved girlfriend. I'd hoped that they weren't like those 'demanding' parents that are usually portrayed in the movies.
I'd wished everything would be fine at the end of the day.
"It'll be fine, Andy. Be natural. Relax and take a deep breath." I told myself those words before we walked towards the enchanting entrance.
The covered hallway is surrounded by white and red tulips. It seemed like a place in the fantasy world and I wished I brought my camera with me.
"If you have plans of picking up some of those tulips, just don't do it if you want to stay in this gigantic house with them."
"But there's a signage over there!"
I saw it. But Lisandro chuckled that confused me.
He replied, "Mother put it there intentionally."
I was awestruck by the way he spoke to me. He was sweet and I saw how sincere he was every time he asked a favor to me. And this time, I would not disappoint him. I must convince his parents that we were in a deep, profound relationship for over a year now.
Until we'd reached the front door that amazed me. There were no guards in the area and I feared that thieves might enter inside and steal their valuable things unknowingly. It would be a great loss for their family.
But it seemed like they didn't need someone capable of saving and protecting his superiors. I'd realized it the moment we entered and stepped into mirror-like vintage tiles.
If I were already amazed at the first glance, I was terrified when I caught a glimpse of the inside. Those expensive paintings hung on the white-painted wall; the rare and limited figurines that were displayed had caught my attention.
It looked like a goddamn castle—an old castle that was being preserved very well.
"Wow, this place is perfectly amazing!" I exclaimed as I couldn't stop myself from admiring every piece of this house.
"I will tour you around after dinner," he said and quickly grabbed my waist that caught my attention. He then sighed, moved a little bit closer to me strangely, "They're here! They are coming towards us now." he whispered that excited and scared the hell out of me.
Right then on, I'd slowly turned my head and looked at his parents from a distance. It was scary as I'd never experienced a 'parent meeting session' before.
They weren't smiling. Yet, I'd hoped that our first meeting would be something magical and sincere.
"Hmm, she must be the woman you're talking about Lisandro. Am I right?" Mrs. Realm asked him mischievously. She then looked at me from head to toe with a fake smile on her lips.
"Uh yes, mother! She's Andy—Andy Carter," he replied enthusiastically, trying to convince his mother. But the look on her face, I could tell that she wasn't induced.
Lisandro tightened the grip on my waist that gave me the chance to introduce myself to them. I felt nervous and intimated by his mother's strong charisma. But I must be brave like I was only talking to one of my colleagues.
Before I spoke, I bowed my head as a sign of respect and greetings.
"Good day Mr. and Mrs. Realm! I'm grateful to finally meet my boyfriend's parents!" I smiled over my shoulder and continued what I'd practiced last night. "By the way, I'm Andy Carter, your son's girlfriend."
It was filled with confidence that surprised me as well. I was an introverted little girl who only stayed inside of the house, listening to my grandmother's interesting stories.
Yet, there was nothing on their faces, but a plain blank. His mother turned to Mr. Realm who just shrugged off his shoulders then suddenly clapped his hands.
He laughed and he said, "You just nailed it, young lady! You had just passed the initial round. Right, honey?" With no doubt, he tapped Mrs. Realm's arm as he whispered something in her ears.
I was confused by their weird actions. Unlike common parents, they would have just smiled at me sweetly and escorted me to the living area.
"He's right! Oh, do you want some jewelry? Or, a bar of gold?"
"I'm sorry to say this, but she's not that kind of woman! Andy is simple and she'd never asked me those things." Lisandro told his mother with confidence and respect.
He just surely bragged me in front of his beloved parents. Whether he asked me or not, it was the greatest thing that happened in my whole life.
"Don't be blinded with love, Lisandro. She'll change and become greedy when you get married and live under the same roof," she said without hesitation.
Mr. Realm probably noticed how I took a deep breath as his wife insulted me inside of his territory. The warm smile on his lips has vanished the moment he caught my gaze.
He said, "Don't mind her, young lady. She's getting older and young people like us should consider her behavior."
Even Lisandro's mother didn't fall into our trap, I was still happy because of his father's candid treatment. Once again, I'd felt a father's love. A great father who would always support his children instead of underestimating them.
My heart filled with joy despite Mrs. Realm's rudeness. Somehow, the sadness in my chest lessened when he suddenly took my hands surprised us all.
"Let me borrow your girlfriend for a moment," he told Lisandro and chuckled. "I won't hurt her, I promise." Mr. Realm assured him that I would be safe in his father's hands.
It completely surprised me while Mrs. Realm rolled her eyes at me. It was hard to remember how many times she did it since we arrived. She looked like a strict professor, but I knew she was a good mother with a loving heart.
Before I held those glowing, fair white skin, I turned to Lisandro and asked for permission. My eyes said everything. He knew it as if he could read what was inside of my head.
I'd waited for an answer until a genuine smile flaunted on his kissable lips and spoke. "You'll be fine, Andy. Just say my name when something happens and I'll be right there. Do you understand?"
"I promise, I won't do silly things while she's here." Mr. Realm told him with a hint of fear in his eyes. He controlled his temper because of me.
I'd never been this safe and comfortable before. Mr. Realm's hands were cold, yet I didn't understand why it felt good. He held my hand gently as he was scared of hurting me or Lisandro would be mad at him.
I couldn't explain how blessed I was despite the challenges that I'd been through.
And while we walked into the breathtaking backyard, I heard how Lisandro burst into laughter with his mother.
It was the first moment he laughed that way. It sounded like a nostalgic harmony that calmed my mind and finally welcomed me warmly.
"Let's enjoy this moment while Laura is pretending that she doesn't like you," he said mischievously.
Pretending? Does it mean she liked me as her son's girlfriend? If that was the case, then I must do something that would effortlessly impress her in front of Lisandro.
I then smiled shortly, bowed my head, and replied shyly, "I don't understand. Why would she need to pretend?"
Curiosity led me to be naive. I shouldn't have asked him such a question and I felt guilty because of my carelessness.
But I was amazed when he stopped walking in the middle of the wide backyard surrounded by small trees.
On the right side was filled with elongated flowers, while on the opposite side was occupied with blue and white roses.
It seemingly fantasy-like backyard. It was perfectly made and how I wished there were flowers in the backyard too.
"I don't want to spoil nor put some pressure on you, but—" he paused for a moment as he slid his hands inside his pocket. He then looked somewhere else, "You're the first woman that our son has brought here."
"I'm sorry, but I think I wasn't the only one!"
Mr. Realm shook his head in disagreement. He was certain of what he just said and if ever it was all true, I would forever cherish it no matter what.
"It's the first time that our son brings a woman into this house—our sacred, yet dull house for thousands of years," he murmured then turned to me with those honest golden-brown eyes.
Sometimes I wished that I was only dreaming of things like this. It seemed surreal and nothing could replace it because it was genuinely priceless.
