Chapter 17: Diana
Athanasia's POV
"LUCAS! WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO?" I asked the guy who recently made my Daddy mad.
It is not like the first time I've witnessed my Papa that 'annoyed' but something's wrong!
Additionally, I know Papa and he won't easily let Lucas off!
"As soon as your father finally saw Lady Diana. His memory about me and the incident on Siodonna will automatically be replaced. So don't worry about me Princess" Lucas told me.
I almost forgot how powerful this bastard beside me is.
"Err Bastard! What exactly did you do to make my Papa that mad? And did my Papa already recognised the original identification of my Mama?!" I asked angrily.
He only scoffed at me as he turned his smugged expression away from me. "Like father, like daughter" I heard him whispered.
"Come on, tell me. What are you planning to do?"
"Teaching him a lesson" He answered casually. "Just a little bit, but of course, fixing him oughta big portion of my action"
"How??" I asked as I attempt to calm myself.
Lucas was about to answer but I quickly stop him when I noticed Lily and Felix going in our direction.
"PRINCESS! PRINCESS!" Lily approached me. She looks troubled while Felix seemed confused.
"What?"
"His Majesty... His Majesty already knew"
I glimpsed at Lucas and he mounted his eyebrows towards me. "My Princess, I guess I have to go---"
I immediately grabbed Lucas' arms. I gave him my most dangerous stare as I utter "Stay here you bastard" towards him.
"You have to explain a lot of stuff, Lucas."

Diana's POV
"Lady Diana, You look gorgeous even without those accessories, you can stand out among the beauties of Obelia without even trying." Lily praised me when she finished my hair.
I stayed quiet while looking at my reflection in the mirror.
No, My Athy is the prettiest.
But I can't deny that my hair became more beautiful. Thanks to the impressive hands of Lily.
*Sigh*
Err, I don't know why, but I'm kinda nervous.
Is this because of what Lucas had told me?
<FLASHBACK>
"Don't worry, Lady Diana. I made him peacefully asleep"
"You did what?"
"He finds us suspicious, So I made him asleep"
"W-what do you intend to say?"
"My wig fell off the ground and he recognized me as the 'Young Warlock'" Lucas replied to me as if he did nothing.
My eyes went wide when I heard his confession. "H-he found out?" I asked tensely. "But why? And why are you using a wig? I thought you can do magic?"
Is that the purpose why he decided to use Athanasia's room while concealing his appearance? Come to think of it! He can just snap his finger to shift his clothes and his appearance.
But why? What are his intentions?
"Lady Diana..." Lucas called my name. "Have you ever thought about what is the connection between your past self and the Emperor?"
His Question made me silent.
"Well, you should find out, because I think, His Majesty will recognize you soon"

That young man's word gives me chills when he told me that. That's why I want to ask Lily regarding the relationship between me and Claude.
I'm nervous, Why do I feel like something unexpected will occur today? Am I overthinking?
I wonder how's Claude? Did he wake up? Will that young man's word will come true?
And What about the deep relationship?
Am I his fling?
Or...
His Lover?
Damn, I'm frustrated. I shall order Athanasia to make Lucas suffer once he became my Son-in-law.
He rendered me a huge puzzle.

I began to bit my nails while attempting to calm myself. I don't know why but my heart suddenly pounds faster than usual.
"Lily, Can you check on Athanasia? Can you also bring me Lipeh Tea?" I ordered Lily and she instantly nods her head as she answers.
I need some refreshments to soothe myself. It's not like something serious will happen but why do I appear like I am going to experience the very first date of my life?
That doesn't even make sense.
Maybe I'll just stop overthinking.
I peeped at the window of Athanasia's room outside. The landscape of the field helped me to calm down a little. The fresh air is peaceful as if it's telling me to go outside to act and play like a child.
Living life here in Siodonna is like a dream, I am grateful to meet my daughter and be capable of staying with her.
If my future would allow me, I would love to stay here forever and cherish the moment of my life with my daughter, I don't want to return to my world and be alone again.
I heaved out a sigh.
Err, I'm still nervous.
Soon, I heard Lily opened the door, I am expecting her to come in my direction so I can savour my lovely tea.
But I heard silence which me confused.
"Lily? How's Athanasia?" I asked Lilian while gazing at the comb on my table.
Lily didn't answer me and it made me so nervous. I can hear my heartbeat drumming wilder when I heard nothing but silence.
Is that Lily?
No?
Who is it?
Athanasia?
"L-lily did you bring my tea?" I attempted to ask again. Come on Lily! Reply to me if it is you.
I nervously nibbled my lips as I gather all of my courage to turn my head and look for the person who entered the room.
"I..."
My eyes went wide when I noticed him, staring intently at me. I stood frozen when I realized that the person I am talking to is not Lilian York.
Claude?
"G-greetings to the t-the sun of Obelia--" before I could complete my sentence, Claude instantly took large and heavy steps approaching my direction.
As soon as he reached my place his hands immediately travelled on my face, gently caressing it as if it is a precious treasure that he doesn't want to lose.
"Your Majesty..." I uttered
the expression on his face were resembling a wounded animal while eagerly looking at me. His eyes were full of longing and it caused me a desire to embrace him.
Don't glance at me like that. My heart is throbbing.
"Diana..." He called me, His voice is nearly a whisper "Diana..." He repeats to call the same name again.
I abruptly remember what the young man informed me that day.
'Well, you should find out, because I think, His Majesty will recognize you soon'
I'm not prepared, I didn't expect it to arrive this so soon.
