Chapter 35: Taipei 101
"How about we go to Taipei 101 Tower to celebrate your birthday?" Yoshito said breaking the silence.
Currently they (the Minato siblings + Kristin and Sam) are having dinner at Chris's house for his birthday.
"That's just your excuse to blackmail me!!" Chris responded coldly, knowing that his first brother's goal was to shop at the branded goods center in his country.
"The model needs branded stuff, Onii-chan!!" Flirt Yoshito
"I just told you to stay behind the desk, and I paid you. Not selling your body like that!!"
"I want to go to Dajia River." Yuire said with his mouth full of food, to mediate his brother's argument.
"Are you sure you just want to go there? There's nothing you can buy there?" Chris asked Yuire.
Yoshito who heard this snorted "Yamada Minato. Actually am I your brother or not?? Why are you only being sweet to Yu?" Yoshito put on a sullen face. Sam and Kristin just smiled at this family conversation.
"Looks like you're just an adopted child. Because every time I see you I always want to be angry." Chris said coldly.
"I should have chosen not to be picked up if I knew my brother would be cruel like you!!" Yoshito grumbled.

"They get along very well." Yuiree said to Sam when he saw Yoshi and Kristin taking pictures among the flowers in the Dajia River.
"We are also compatible, dear," said Sam, holding his lover's hand.
"Right, Onii-chan?" Sam asked as he turned to Chris who was sitting beside him in one of the visitor seats at the Dajia. Seeing his brother's face that turned gloomy when he finished receiving the call. Yuire approached his brother, kneeling under his brother who was sitting on a park bench.
"Onii-chan?? Call from whom???" Yuire asked softly.
"Doctor Marie." Chris' eyes met with Yuire's eyes, which understood what was going on.
"What is it??" Sam was among them curious to know what was going on. They were silent for a moment, neither of whom answered Sam's question.
"Dear??" Sam asked hoping his girlfriend would give him an answer. Yuire looked at Chris for a moment then looked back at her lover.
"Three donors on the hospital list, none of which match my blood type." Yuire smiled at Sam. ️
"This is bad news, don't smile!! I really hate it when you always act fine in front of me! " Chris said staring at his little sister, Sam just looked down not knowing what to do to help his lover.
"My life is far more than okay. What more can I ask for? I have you, Yoshi, Sam and even Kristin now. I'm happy. That's enough." Chris did not respond to any of his sister's words.
"I want you to enjoy your happiness a little longer." Chris said briefly.
"Don't worry onii-chan. I still have plenty of time. (Yu smiles, rubs her brother's cheeks and stands up) I'll be there to meet Yoshi and Kristin." Yuire got up and went to her brother Yoshito who was taking pictures.
Only two men were left sitting there blankly thinking about their own imaginations. "Is it true that there is still a lot of time??" Sam asked without looking at the person beside him.
Chris took a deep breath " Not as much as she thought, her condition is getting worse. She never said it, but I know. She often wakes up in the middle of her sleep, moving away from me to cover the pain." Chris recalled his little sister's attitude every time she slept in his room, getting out of bed slowly and curled up on the sofa. Chris started to sob and clenched his fists.
"Seeing his frail body dripping with sweat and catching her breath made me shattered Sam. And she always smiled in pain when I saw her in pain" Sam looked at the man, his eyes began to blur with tears that were almost dripping.
"Several times I've asked God, why not just me. My body is stronger.. (Chris's words caught in his sobs). If she hadn't refused, I might have given mine to him.
"Chris, don't ever think you or Yoshito would give it to Yu. She would still feel dead if one of you left." Sam ventured to rub the shoulder of the person he was afraid of.
"I love Yu as much as you guys. I will not stay silent. I will also try to find a way out."
"Thanks Sam, now I'm going to see Marie. Take my sister home with you. Tell her I have business." Chris stood up from his seat and patted Sam on the shoulder looking straight into his eyes
"He's my most precious possession, take care of her more than yourself." Then Chris walked away leaving Sam alone.
"I don't know why you keep laughing Yu, even though your time is on the limit. Do you want to cover up your pain. Or is it because of me you keep laughing? I love you Yuire Minato. I want to continue to be the cause of you laughing" Sam
