Chapter 574: 83.6 Reflection

Peace... What exactly is peace? Was it the absence of strife? A state wherein there were no problems? Perhaps it was a life with no adversity or challenge? Quite frankly, technicalities were the enemy of straightforward idiots like me that love to pretend they're deep and philosophical. Maybe I was overthinking it, but it's fun to see just how far one can stretch the truth for the sake of their ideals. Maybe someone's idea of peace was silence, which would then make them kill everyone and everything around them just so they could achieve this ideal. Or maybe someone would want war to end, which would end up with them slaughtering and genociding their enemies so that their country would know no enemy ever again.
