Chapter 349: 54.3 Uninvited Guest

Well, technically Flare taught me how to call it in the first place. In fact, it was during the old village's defense that it really manifested, but only now did I really know how to call if for myself. Mathilde then taught me how to channel it into a Seigeled weapon properly, and the rest was up to me to figure out. The former Primzahl couldn't exactly teach me how the light works for her, so I had to start from scratch. Just the way I liked it, honestly.

"And now you're a fire Zahler just like Mother," she concluded. "You really are special."

"I'm not that special," I chuckled as I finished up her treatment. "Also, do you really not know anything about where she is?"

"Again, it's been too long since we've last been together," Lise sighed. "We agreed that it'd be better for us to go our separate ways and continue messing with the Empire that way, so I'd guess that she would be somewhere where she'd do the most damage."
