Chapter 23: [] Chapter Twenty one : Strengthening up
I hopped down from my throne and addressed the gathered crowd. "Attention, everyone."
Sparky had already dived into the water, but upon hearing my voice, she swiftly swam up and leaped onto the king's layer.
Her body was twice as big as mine, and as I met her curious red eyes, I felt a peculiar sensation, but I strengthened my resolve.
"Everyone, I'll get straight to the point. We need to hurry! Our enemies are growing stronger as we speak."
"To become stronger ourselves, we need equipment. We've acquired a significant amount for our first battle, which will greatly aid us. However..."
Their undivided attention remained fixed on me; no one dared to speak or look elsewhere.
"Unfortunately, the items we've acquired aren't well-suited for you. I did promise that most of you would receive them as your reward, but these things aren't very adaptable. But don't worry; I'll still reward you all. However, you'll have to be patient!"
I waited for their reaction, Thankfully they aren't sad! They all nodded there head in union.
" For now only two individual will get some. They will play an big upcoming role in the battle"
" Aqua and Emily both of you come here"
Hearing me, they reacted right away and hopped in front of him. I can clearly sense of determination from them. Even the cheerful emily well behaved.
I turned around and stored the items which I will take and buried them under the rock and took the three items and put the big sheild and the sparking green gem Infront of Aqua and put the scroll in front of Emily using the dungeon lord function.
The others eyes sparkled seeing aqua getting the big huge thing!. They didn't know what it was for . But for them the bigger the thing the better it is.
I sighed as I sensed all of their emotions clearly.
" They are pure and dumb too, sob sob"
" Aqua eat the gem"
Aqua who was gazing at the big sheild with excitement and determination. Turned her head around towards me.
She nodded and lowered her head and opened her mouth wide open. And took a big bite gulping down the green gem along with mouthfull of soil.
" ehh?!" I was kinda taken back seeing her gulping down soil too!.
But thankfully, she separated the soil and slowly the soil exited from her apandage.
" Full of surprises" I thought and sighed and looked at the dimly lit green gem slowly degenerating in her body.
Slowly the dim light disappeared, She opened her eyes and looked at her own body then looked at me tilling her head at the side with visible confusion.
" It didn't work?" I thought and right away opened her status window.

Hearing me she looked at me, she was still confused what happened. But nothing lest being praised by the king!. She become happy.
I turned my head towards Emily, Who was busy looking at the scroll which was twise the size of her. She somehow managed to opened the scroll on her own with her lil hands and was looking at curiously.
" Emily use that"
She looked at me and looked back at the scroll. And rolled it up. And opened her mouth wide open.

Before I can say anything she gulped down the scroll. And watched as the scroll desolved on her body slowly.
Meanwhile me,
I cried in pain, Sob sob. I really hope it's really the way to use them.
After couple of seconds, Her head ring shined a bit, before dimming down.
She looked at her body and then looked at me and asked.
" Did I do good kewh?"
I didn't say anything and cried silently" There goes my another treasure"
" I only wanted her borrow it" i muttered but still opened her status window. Hoping it won't get wasted.

Not bad not bad, At least she retained the original usage. No it become more powerful!. The old one only applied to allies.Amd moreover the old item diad copies unlike this one which says steal!.

Hearing me she cheered up!. She was started feeling worried as she couldn't figure out what the item did!.
I also sensed envious emotions from others. Seeing there fellow comrades are being praised by the king.

Hearing me they kind of cheered up.
" Sparkly take this" I grabbed the shadow ring and throw towards her.
She quickly grabbed it with her mouth.
" Don't swallow it, I think just by putting mana you will be able to activate it"
Hearing me she nodded her head
" Sparky will protect slime!"
I nodded my head, " Yes I'm counting on you"
With that I opened my status window and quickly took out the buried thirty spirit stones.
And after some consideration. I gave sparky ten of them. And Sepia and for me.
" Yes I deserve some this time!"
We quickly processed them, I was excited as what skill they and I might get!.
But unfortunately, sepia and I didn't get any new skill. Only our stats increased a bit. As for sparky, she gone through some transformation.
Her scales become dark red and her eyes become more detailed, Yes. I couldn't pinpoint what changes happened to her eyes. But there's something new in them.
Skill:
Liquid Mirage- Harnesses mastery over water to create illusory duplicates that confuse enemies, causing them to target the decoys instead for 8 seconds. This skill can be used once per battle and provides increased evasion during its duration.
The skill made her more deadly now, and with combination of shadow ring. It become more deadly.
" Yosh now time for the formation" I opened the dungeonlord function and made some specific changes while making easur for sparky to climb up. I also reduced the pit holes on the 3rd layer. As they were completely useless. And expanded the formation a bit.
And thus the preparation was all done. I checked my inventory.

" I hope this two potions would be enough" I muttered and opened my status window and tapped on the tower of infinity.
As for why? No matter how I see it. Its best choice so far among the options.
Soon the dungeons balvk walls started shaking,

I quickly read the whole notification, as for the dungeon wall they disappeared.
And we along with our small tiny dungeon found ourself in middle of a huge vast land. And within the thick long grass, Dozens of small green humanoid figures emarged.
There red eyes glowed, There whole foucs was on us!.
