Allison's POV:

"What?" I managed to speak finally but still couldn't blink my eyes. "Brother?" I asked again and he immediately looked away sighing and rubbing his forehead.

"Did you really say brother?" I asked again and he didn't answer. I couldn't believe him. All the incidents that happened in the past days, came rushing into my mind. Neil taking a shot at Jacob on the way to my office. Neil kidnapping me and inquiring me about his own brother. It was all shocking. Why would Jacob's own brother try to kill him? Why would Jacob call his own brother his enemy? And if he really considers Neil as his enemy then why didn't he kill him the moment he entered the house? I couldn't shake off all those questions while still looking at Jacob in shock.

"Yes," he finally replied. "He's my brother," he added and I shook my head in confusion.

"How – how is that possible?" I asked him in disbelief.
