Jacob's POV:
When I was young, my father used to go into the woods for hunting. Unlike other dads who took their kids along and taught them hunting techniques, he never took me. He warned me never to ask to come along with him because he had a different mindset. He believed that taking kids for hunting could affect their minds, making them think that killing a living being was acceptable. He also believed that exposing children to guns at a young age could impact their mental health and mold their character in a violent and harsh way. However, I yearned for the opportunity to bond with my dad on hunting trips. Finally, on my 12th birthday, I gathered the courage to ask him if I could join him. Initially hesitant, he eventually agreed, granting me the moment I had longed for.
