I swallowed hard, my eyes widening with horror as I grasped the gravity of the situation. I realized that my very life depended on obeying him, a chilling realization that sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't believe it. I had no idea what he meant or what I was expected to do.

"What... what?" I stammered in disbelief.

"Sit down." he commanded, pointing sternly at the chair across the table.

"No, I don't..." I began to protest.

"Sit. Down." he reiterated, his tone sharp and forceful, causing my heart to race.
