“I am not going!” Nesha declared, for the fifth time that day, ever since they had gotten back from their visit to the Elder this morning.

“C’mon, Nesha. It’ll be fun,” Neivayka cajoled her once again.

“No, you don’t understand. These people will not welcome a Cesiwir in their midst. Not after everything I have done,” Nesha swore.

“Well, they are just gonna have to deal with it,” Neivayka stated firmly. “And you need to learn not to let them get to you. Are you proud of what you do?”

“Yes!”

“Then ignore them,” Neivayka answered simply.

Nesha stared at her for a moment, then made an aggravated sound. “Fine!” she agreed finally. “But do not blame me when things get heated!”

Neivayka’s face split wide with a triumphant smile. “Don’t worry, I won’t.”
