Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1
I honestly don't know how my life got the way It did and I don't know how to explain it.
I was just a regular college student, with a job at a convenience store, and was mildly depressed like any regular young adult in this day and era.
How did I end up in a night club?
How did I end up making out with a mafia leader in the vip section?
Well, let me take you back a couple hours earlier before all of this even happened.
It was on a Friday morning and I don't how in the hell this happened but I woke up 2 hours later than I was suppose to wake up!
And to add on to the shitty start of my day, I had a huge test that day, so I rushed out of my apartment, and ran to the university campus.
I didn't get to take the test, and I was told that I had to retake that class, but whatever. I just went to my job since my shift was about to start anyways.
At this point I thought nothing can get worse than what just happened to me but no, I was wrong, completely wrong.
"Sorry Jaein, but I'm going to have to let you go,the owner is going into retirement and will close this store soon" The manager said as I felt like my world had come crashing down the second those words came out of his mouth
I honestly felt like deleting myself.
I walked home and went straight into my bed, and cried.
I was an emotional wreck at this point and I didn't know what to do with myself but just cry my frustrations out.
I felt like my life was coming to an end and I was starting to just think the worst.
With no job, I won't have any money.
If I don't have money, I can't pay my rent or buy food.
Without food, no happiness.
Without my apartment, I'll have to move back to my parents house WHICH IS A NO FROM ME.
I was just a mess.
Until my friend and bad influence Luca had invited me out, and with being in such an awful state of mind, I agreed.
"Woah, slow down Jaein, you're lightweight, don't forget that" said as he snatched another drink from my hand before i could gulp it down
"My day has been trashy, and I'm sad" I said as I snatched back the drink and gulped it down, not caring if it literally burned down my throat
"Alright, but don't get completely wasted, I don't want you to get alcohol poisoning and die on me" Luca said as he chuckled and took a sip of his own drink
I just shrugged and didn't think much of what he said since the next thing I knew I'm taking shots and dancing like a maniac on the dance floor.
As I danced with Luca, I felt like someone had been looking at me, and i look around the club and soon spot the person that had been looking at me, a guy that was sitting in the vip section.
His skin was milky white that made his Jet black hair stand out, his face structure was sharp and he had a slit on one of his eyebrows, his emerald eyes were cold and they were looking straight at me.
He was a good looking guy and I felt myself start to feel intimidated as I look away and continue to dance, still cautious that he was still staring.
time has gone by and I've noticed that he was still starring at me, even when I left the dance floor, I was now sitting at the bar and could still feel his stare.
"Luca, do you know that guy over there at the vip section?" I said as I nodded my head towards the strangers way and Luca looked over, trying to not be obvious
With having parents that were club owners, Luca was friends with many club owners in Korea and knew a lot of the people who went to the clubs regularly.
"Oh him? He's Park Hangyul, why?" Luca said raising an eyebrow at his friend
"He's been starring at me this time and he hasn't looked away" I said as I glance over at him and accidentally made eye contact
Oddly enough, I don't look away until I see him call one of the two men who stood at his side and whispered something to him, his eyes still not leaving mines.
"We should leave, Park Hangyul isn't someone you want to get noticed by" Luca said as he had a serious expression and seemed to have sobered up quickly
"Why?" I asked as I turned to look at Luca, breaking the eye contact I had with Hangyul
Before Luca can answer, I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turn around to see the same man that Hangyul whispered to.
"Please follow me to the vip section, sir"
"Why?"
"My boss wants to have a word with you"
