Chapter 484: Purification

The thing that I had pulled out was Durand.

The moment that it was pulled out, the priest immediately realized what it was since he could feel the evil energy that was coming from it.

But I didn't put it away as I said, "There's something strange that happened with this cursed sword and I need your help to figure out what happened."

The priest looked at me with a strange look when he heard this, but after a moment to gather his thoughts, he calmed down and said, "Alright, tell me what happened."

I gave a nod before telling him the story of how I obtained Durand and what happened when I grabbed hold of it.

"So in the end, the light disappeared and I have no idea what happened. However, when I used the sword, it didn't seem to curse me at all, so I can tell that something must have changed with the sword."

The priest knitted his brows when he heard this before standing up and saying, "Move back and let me take a look."
