Chapter 13: Chapter 11
A/N: Back again! Yatta! I won't spoil but he won't be here forever. He's a counter guardian so he kinda does have a purpose before he's pulled out.
It seems once again I have done something that has turned attention to me.

I did not like the sound of that.

I sighed, still broke as hell. Why couldn't I gain a Golden Rule skill? If King Gilgamesh were here, he would have long broken the rules and just stormed out, heck, he would've sued and commanded the dokaebi to pay reparations for even dragging him into the mess. Or perhaps he would make the scenarios harder just to test mankind.
Regardless, he would have been earning passive income just from existing.
I sighed, it was about time I made my own way. While I have some thoughts about why I'm here, it'll be a tedious task and based off of what the scenarios are. The the likelihood of me being correct had skyrocketed. I can only hope I'm wrong.
Otherwise I might not be able to protect them.
I would be retiring for the rest of the days until the scenario ended. I did not need more skills as of now. I only needed to polish them until the peak of what I could accomplish.

Monsters came at me everywhere and I was in deep trouble for anyone who was only subpar in skills. A flick of my wrist as my blade became a whirlwind of death.
"Lightless, Three Stage Thrust!"
The beast in front exploded in a gory death as a gaping whole was left. It still was not enough. My technique ignored defence, but it had the potential to erase matter. A complete defence ignoring attack. By collapsing the causal relationships, it should be possible to completely erase the matter to bypass any authorities, defence, invincibility and matter itself. A sword to pierce through everything.
"Lightless, Three Stage Thrust!"
Another one, as the beast had a hole pierced right through its heart.
"Lightless, Three Stage Thrust!"
And another one.
This continued for as long as they threw themselves at me.
And another one.
A spark of blue and black appeared at the tip of my sword as the bear was pierced right through, although this time, I did not feel as much resistance.
"Lightless, Three Stage Thrust!"
It was gone, I definitely did not hallucinate, I knew that what I saw was the tip of the surpassed Zenith. What my parallel alternate Counter Guardian self had gained. I was slowly but surely carving my own path.
"Lightless, Three Stage Thrust!"
Another spark, I could see it more clearly. Blue and black wisps as the blade passed through mostly without resistance. I was getting there for sure.
Another one but more clean. Each thrust became easier and eventually It came to fruition. The memory of that one moment will forever be ingrained in my spirit origin.
The blade was thrusted forward as a flare of blue and black coated the blade as space was ignored and matter was erased in an instant the sword had ignored everything and pierced through the world. That instant I had shifted to a different dimension While I did not have Rengoku, I would not need it. I would carve out an alternate path to beyond Zenith.

It was to signify the start of my pathway, all I had to do was to walk along and progress.

This was my key to reaching beyond Zenith. To reach boundlessness. Another beast reached me as I launched all my frustration of the lack of sleep for days.
"Aboslute, Three Stage Thrust!"
The flames of blue and black engulfed Norimune as it erased half the body of the bear.
My knees sunk to the ground as my lungs convulsed. *GUH* Blood splattered over the ground as I wiped the blood around my mouth. "Life is not so daijoubu."
I dreamed about that dimension. That plane of Zenith I reached, it was beautiful, a pure blue gem coloured sky and clouds drifting endlessly with an endless stretching white floor. Beautiful. I hope I dream about that peaceful realm again.
I stared at the scenario screen.
[8:01 Hours Left]
It was at that moment it had appeared. The scenario had collapsed and therefore everything was going to have raised difficulty.
[Due to the presence of a special Counter Guardian, difficulty has been raised again]

I guess this was partially my fault.

Interlude: Kim Dokja
Originally, there were three days remaining in the scenario.
Now the monsters supposed to be created during the remaining time of the green zone scenario would emerge all at once. In other words, it was simple.
[The emergency defence has begun!]
The platform of line 3 quickly became a mess. The faces of the people became speculative as they watched the monsters coming from all sides. The bounty scenario was completely forgotten about.
Grrrr!
A few grolls ran and bit some of the alliance members. The upset people were shouting.
Now was the only chance. I shouted to my party.
However, I stopped for just a moment. The swarming horde of monsters seemed to be running. Running away from something.
It was at that moment. It was endless. Lines of black and blue wisps appeared as they seemed to ignore all defence. They were all cut apart into pieces. Beasts were being pierced and erased as if nothing had existed.
"Absolute, Three Stage Thrust!"
It was Okita-san. In an instant he thrust his blade and with it multiple beasts were erased with a single thrust. A beast swung it's paw down as nothing was left of Okita, it was as if he never existed. Okita was long gone as he finished the rest of the beasts at the station.
The beast looked confused until a single flash of a blade had cut its head off.
A single strike that had ignored time and space to reach its target.
There he was soaked in a shower of blood as the haori cleaned the blood of him and drained the blood of itself. At that moment, he was more of a machine than human.
