I got a text message from an unknown number. It said I am waiting for you at the arranged spot. I hurried out of the car and walked into the restaurant. I stopped and looked around for a few seconds. When I realized I had no idea what he looked like I gave his phone a call. I hear his phone ring so I follow the sound. I see a man in a suit sitting in booth seven. I lightly tap his shoulder. Are you Jean's brother? He turns around and I realize my blind date is my plastic surgeon DOCTOR STELLEN ROSE. he gets up and greets me "it's nice to see you again Ms.Yang." I smile, shake his hand, and sit down. I was really surprised to see him I didn't think I would be seeing him again. "It must have been fate for us to have met again, haha." We spent about thirty minutes talking and enjoying our meal until he asked me a question. "I wanted to ask if you could be my date at Jean's wedding. I know this is sudden but i feel this can benefit both of us." I gotta admit I was a little shocked by what he said but I agreed. "If you are correct however I have conditions if you don't mind. I hope during the next few days we can become a little closer than we are now. And the second request I hope that you won't get emotionally attached. I don't want to sound rude but I don't believe in love." he agrees then takes me home. He walks me to my door then tells me goodnight. When I make it back to my apartment I get a text message from him. "Let's go shopping tomorrow. I got off of work at two and I'll pick you up by then." I lay down and take a deep breath today went a lot different than I planned.
Entry 4
Dear Diary,
Today I will be going to the mall to pick out some outfits with Stellen. In case you've forgotten let me give you a quick rundown of what's been going on. I've just recently got plastic surgery so I'm no longer look the same as I used to, but that doesn't mean I've changed who I am for my appearance. Jean arranged a blind date for me so I would have someone to take to the wedding. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be my plastic surgeon. We have both agreed to go to the wedding together, and have decided to go shopping together. So where do we go from there?
I received a phone call from my manager asking me to come in early to help with some paperwork and to make sure I brought my script. I said yes because I still had a few hours before I had to go on my date. I took a shower and I was on my way out
I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous going to work today. Well usually I only work at home but I thought that since I no longer had a reason to stay inside I should try appearing in the office every once in a while.so I told my director I would come in person to deliver my script.
''Hello? Director sorry I'm running a bit late in five minutes away I'll be there in a sec.''
''Alright, I'm in my office just ask Meanie to let you in when you get here.''
It was my first time wearing heels. I don't know how girls manage to stay in these all day. My feet were all bruised, but I had to make sure I made it. I turned the corner and there it was Worzip Corporation. I walked inside and walked to the front desk.
''Excuse me miss, but I am here to meet with Mr.Yee I have an appointment with him.''
''Oh yes just go up. Do you know his way to his office?''
''Yes.''
I made my way up to Mr.Yee's office and knocked on his door. There was no response for a second. Then a beautiful lad walked out. ''He said he's ready to see you,'' she said
I walk inside
''Close the door please���'
I close the door and walk up to his desk. He gestures to me to sit down and puts a bunch of papers in front of me.
''Can you sign these, please? And your scripts please."
''Oh yes let me get those out for you''
I handed him my work and started looking through and signing papers. I check the time and see three hours have gone by. I try to hurry home and get ready. I took my shower and went to my closet to find something to wear. When I checked my closet I saw all my clothes from when I was overweight and miserable. I couldn't cry. I would allow myself to because I am no longer in pain so I shouldn't dwell over the past. I grab my old clothes and throw them in the trash. When I set my clothes out I hear my phone ring. I go to check it.
''Its Stellen.''
I answer the phone
''Hello?''
''Hey, I'm at your door.''
''Oh you can come up I'm just getting dressed.''
A few minutes he knocks at my door. I go to open the door. Mr.Stellen looks at you and notices you have nothing on but a towel he quickly turns his head. I noticed that he looked uncomfortable with me like this so I went back and got dressed. Shortly after I came out.
''I'm ready''
He nods his head and opens the door for me. Before I could walk out he caught me by surprise. He slightly put his arm around my waist and it was as if he felt like I was about to break. He pulled me closer to him. He let go of me and started rubbing my scars from the plastic surgery.
''Does it still hurt?''
''No in fact the scars are starting to heal a lot faster than i thought. Thanks to you Mr.Stellen''
He stops holding me me
''Stellen…''
''Huh?''
''Call me Stellen. We are no longer in a business area so there is no need to be so formal.''
''Oh. Ok uh, Stellen can we go you don't want it to get too dark.''
''Yea lets go''
I couldn't see his face because he kept looking the other way. He must have been shy.
When we got there he allowed me to pick the places to walk into but I've never been to the mall. A Lot of people went here but I didn't because every time I went out I had to emotionally prepare myself for verbal abuse from everyone around me.
''We can go anywhere you want to go. So lead the way''
I turned his way
''I've uh I've never been to a mall so I don't know where to go first.''
He looked surprised but then he smiled and patted my head.
''Then I'll lead the way.''
He grabs my hand and takes me to a shop called ''beauty for everyone''. He lets go of my hand and grabs an angelic-looking dress and hands it to me.
''Try this on. I think this would look gorgeous on you''
I take it and go try it on. He seems so affectionate towards someone like me. Maybe it's because I am no longer fat and ugly. I'm no longer hard to look at. I must not get distracted. He's just attracted to this new body of mine. I'll end up hurting myself again. I put on the dress and walked out to show him. He looks stunned. His face turns red.
''Does that mean you like it?''
He covers his face
*cough cough
''Um... Yea I love it.''
He tells me to go ahead and change and he'll wait for me.it felt nice for someone to actually look at me and not be disgusted. It's a shame he won't see me for more than a pretty face. When I finished changing I went up to pay for the dress. I looked around to see where he went. I saw him waiting outside. I walk outside then he looks at me. He walked close to me so close I began to feel him breathing. He put his hands around me and all I could do was stare at him wondering what he was trying to do. Was he trying to kiss me?
