Chapter 24: Chapter 26
Everyone cheered on the newly wedded couple. We all believed that they would live a happy life. They have started the new chapter to a great beginning. It gave me hope that we would all have a happy ending despite the pain we would face on our journey. Jessica turned facing me. She winked at me.
"Are you ladies ready?!"
The ladies screaming in agreement. Jessica threw the bouquet of flowers. The ladies pushes and shoved to get close enough to grab the flowers. The men laughed at how desperate the woman was for the bouquet. It was as if it would be determining their future. The one thing that could determine their happiness. A woman desperate for love is indeed a scary thing.
I look up and see the bouquet was heading my way. All the woman was running towards me. I got the sudden urge to run. If I caught those flowers my life may have been over. A girl ran in front of me and grabbed the bouquet.
"I got it! I got it!"
Everyone looked at the girl who caught the flowers. The woman gave a deadly life-threatening stare. We all laughed it was an enjoyable night. We danced, laughed, smiled basically everything we could only dream of... be happy. I and everyone else here wished this night would last forever. A day with no sorrow or pain only the one thing that can brighten our days.
I sat out back alone. I loved the cool breeze. It was relaxing and calming. It was exactly what I needed. I took a deep breath. I look around and enjoy the scenery.
"wow... it's beautiful."
I begin to start walking around, but someone grabs my hand and pulls me in. I look to see who it is.
"Stellen?! Ss- ssorry I left I just wanted to get some fresh air."
He didn't say a thing he just held me in his arms for a while.
"Uh, Stellen do you wanna walk with me? w- we could enjoy the view."
He nods his head then releases me. He grabs my hand then starts walking. He walks me around the garden where we then find a beautiful crystal-like water fountain. I run to the water fountain. "My eyes begin to twinkle in the moonlight.
"awe it's amazing..."
I run my fingers through the water and smile. I then look at Stellen. He walks towards me and holds my hand. He looks me in my eyes then pushes my hair behind my ear.
"Stellen? We need you in the- sorry if I'm interrupting, but there's people inside calling you."
He releases my hand and begins to walk inside. He turns back and looks at me.
"Come back inside when you are done getting some air."
I nod my head and watch him go inside.
*sigh*
"Hey, are you okay?"
